The real problem is that 4Kids is taking shows with mature content, that aren't made "4Kids", and trying to make them into kids' shows. I don't have any real problem with the job they did on Pokemon, from what I hear they didn't edit too much. I don't even have a big problem with what they did to Yu-Gi-Oh, but shows like One Piece and Shaman King don't seem like children's shows to me. With what 4Kids does they might as well take a show like Family Guy and edit it into a kids' show.

I do blame 4Kids. If they want kids' shows, they should get kids' shows.

You're neglecting the fact that these shows have a target audience of 5-13 year olds in Japan. Sure, many older people enjoy them as well there but America is a different place. Anime has grown a lot in popularity over the past few years, but most Americans don't see it as being mainstream entertainment. If you were to show some one a clip from any of the shows being discussed, they would most likely say it looks like something their kids might like. Yes, as much as you all can't stand to hear it, most Americans still call anime CARTOONS! 4Kids is just taking what is a kids show in Japan, and making a kids show out of it in America. So yes, I do blame American pop culture.

The sub title I can deal with affter all there is a pause butten. And my horific incounter was do to my own stupidity I thought that La Blue girl would be one of those showss like Jungle were you get the impression the creator were on some form of narcotics. Boy was I wrong. Also who did the Kirby anime? It was okay at frist but kirby's lack of a vocabulary and Tiff and Tuff drove me nuts.

Yeah, in Rave Master when Haru met Musica the first time, Plue was in there drinking Beer with Musica but it was changed to Soda, and they edited out the Blood when Plue stuck his/her nose into Haru's face. Geez, I knew what Beer was when I was 7 and I've seen worse than just that. (Witnessed a car accident)
