Yes, Courtney Love is co-producing an anime and manga. Run for your lives.

Now, I MIGHT check it out. Might. Because it does look really really good. However, it will probably suck if:

1) Courtney Love does the voice of Ai. Her voice would be...wrong for the character (even though Ai closely resembles Courtney).

2) It goes through Courtney's life. If I see a character in there that so much as LOOKS like Kurt Kobain, I will take my Nevermind CD, break it in half, and then slit my wrists with the broken pieces.

*whew*

So...thoughts? Comments? Courtney bashing?

I've only heard of it because MTV2 plays the goddamned commercial for the manga 10 times an hour.

It looks pretty stupid if you ask me, and not just because Courtney Love is co-producing it. It looks like a generic shoujo diva manga.

And the fact that Courtney Love is co-making the manga makes me want to buy one, defecate on it, and leave it on her doorstep.

I hope I can murder a mediocre rock star one day so I can get my own manga series.

^Heh, yeah, Adult Swim plays it a lot too. I almost fell off my couch when I heard the words "Courtney Love" and "anime" in the same sentence.

And when I said it "looked good" I meant literally. As in animation style. But yeah, it'll probably suck.

I kid but really this sounds like its not gonna be good at all. I mean come on. Though she is a major drugged up wench so that may be how the world looks on the drugs she is on.
