Thumbs up

I've only read the first issue of the Manga (I'm looking for the second, but it IS tokyopop, so it shouldnt' be long before they release it out here), and I really am hooked-but then again, it ISN'T just a character grunting or dialogue like .hack//SIGN was, and BlackRose is jut as cool as ever.

Are there any other .hack//gift of the twlight fans here?

I am. Not as deep and A LOT more entertaining than .hack//SIGN was.

I'm glad someone agrees with me about Tsukasa grunting. I also think he/she/it and all the other characters SIGN are terribly two-dimensional.

I liked .hack//sign better. I can see people finding it boring, but i found it interesting. Plus, i loved the music from it.

Arrow

.hack//SIGN had a MUCH better story than Gift of Twilight, but unfoturnatley, it suffered the Galidor effect, (No-It's not as bad as that show was) If you miss one episode, then you're lost. and the biggest flaw is that it's either Dialogue or Tsukasa Grunting. I don't nessecarily mind high-dialogue, though if like almost half the episodes are dialogue, then it's bad. Plus, mix it with Tsukasa grunting, and then the show is sometimes boring.

.hack//Gift of Twilight just sacrifices the plot but it's more entertaining. What Rena said to the obnoxious jerk in her math class in the world was pretty funny. (I'm not posting it here, and they probably might have cut it out on the anime)

Twilight is the only .hack thing I like. I found the show boring, and the games too repetitive. I own the first two books.

I have the first two volumes as well. Second one ends in a terrible place... And they haven't released the third one yet.

Anime sucks. Read the manga.
That is all.

Red face

Cartoon Network has been showing the series unannounced at 1 AM every Friday night.

Yeah, it's very fun and entertaining. I like it a lot more than SIGN, so far.

Both series have pretty goodm usic.

I saw all 13 episodes and it wasn't really good at all. Now if you read the manga first and like things to stay true to the original...well you'll want to kill the people not from the original project who made this show. Bandai folk mostly.
