Once again, I warn you that this is full of spoilers. Do not read this if you have not yet seen Trigun. First off: Vash. We know that he is Knives' brother. We know that they both have incredibly high IQs. Even so, they both seem to possess some sort of psychic power. We don't see to much of it being displayed, but Knives definitely uses it a few times. Then Legato comes into the picture. We know that he also possesses this great mental ability, presumably because he has Vash's left arm. My question is: is it telekinesis or telepathy? I personally think it is telepathy. Why? Because there is more evidence supporting it. We never see any member of this threesome levitate anything, but we do see a few telepathic conversations. Their ability to move the body parts of others could simply be mind control. Question #2: Are Knives and Vash actual plants? I mean like grass. By "plant" it could just mean that they are powered by a plant. I don't believe that, but it is worth considering. If they are actual plants it fits in better with the storyline. If a lot of this is incoherent, it's because I need more sleep and less work. I'm off to play Tales of Symphonia now. |

That's part of why Vash is the "humanoid" typhoon--he's not truly human, just human-looking. I think that, from the way he is able to communicate with plants in both the manga and the animated series, it's obvious that he is one himself. |

In actuality, yes, Vash is a power plant, as opposed to being part of the flora. If he was a plant he wouldn't have to eat. |
