FUNimation is a good dubbing company. Everyone just thinks theyre bad because they did a meh job on DBZ when they first got it.

Yeah, Funi does good work. Don't worry.

Read or Die will be on October 23rd, and Ghost in the Shell is coming the same day as FMA. Adult Swim is going to be rockin.

I really don't want to see FMA, one of my favorite series, dubbed at all, to be honest. How selfish of me.

There IS a god!

And guys, if you seriously think FUNimation's a bad dubbing company because of DBZ, then you must empty a print cartridge of Toner into your mouth and swallow. Look at Case Closed and Yu Yu Hakusho-They rule and they were dubbed by FUNimation. (And who dubbed Cyborg 009?)

Purists don't care. Though in some cases TV dubs are really bad. I have almost all volumes of the Evangelion DVDs. And when I saw it on Cartoon Networks Giant Robot Week....my god it was horrible.

Purists are lame. "Oh, I'm Japanese!"

Yeah, I'll watch it. It looks good.

What made DBZ bad wasn't the dub, it was DBZ.

The only reason I'm getting the Rahxephon DVDs is because I can't find it on TV anywhere.

And an interesting thing I heard is that Akira (I can't spell his last name dammit!) was actually TRYING to get DBZ cancelled.

I hate it when they use ****ing japanese words regularly in conversations.

I'd let it pass if they knew the language and were fluent. But its just annoying when you only know 3 words.

Some people are just plain creepy with their usage of two or three words. X-x

I hope they don't screw up with Lust's voice. It was so nice in Japanese. Or Ed's. Or Roy's.

But yes, RoD TV is good too. Meeheheheh.

Appaers to have been in a few anime. Catgirl Nuku and the such.

Caitlin Glass as Winry Rockbell
Says she was on an episode of Case Closed which is all they list for her

Chris Sabat as Alex Louis Armstrong
This dude plays Kuwabara and Jigen in most of the Lupin movies.

Travis Willingham as Roy Mustang
This guy i've got no clear roles except in Det. Conan and Kiddy Grade.

I study the Japanese language on my spare time. Read it again: I STUDY IT. I am in no way fluent, and I don't try to learn stupid phrases that are of no use to anybody (with the exception of "nande yanen" because Osaka pwns j00) or use Japanese words mixed in English sentences (example: "you are baka" is stupid to say to somebody, but I will let "anta baka" slide). In other words, I'm not an average anime fan.

All I can do now is make stupid, simple sentences, like "This is boring" or "That is food" or "I am sleepy" or "You are a carrot". Yeah, high school Japanese classes are really simple at best. And I can't read Kanji. That bugs me a lot.

Some animes work better subbed than dubbed. Example: Azumanga Daioh. You lose a lot of the weird quirky humor on the dubbed version.

Well, they just showed it. Overall, I'd say I'll keep watching this. Very interesting premise, and pretty entertaining.

My gosh I wish I had cable. I wish I could see how well it's being translated. Well, can't have everything. I guess I'll have to have my friend tape it for me...

Pretty cool.

From what I can tell, they've done a very good job of dubbing it.

I agree with Carter. My only complaint is that Alphonse doesn't sound like he's 14, but then again, he did lose his body when he was 10...
