I've heard of the manga, but that's it. I would have considered buying it for my soon-to-come manga collection, but there were two big problems:

1. The manga has been reversed.
2. Each volume is beeing sold for $16 a piece. That's right: SIXTEEN FRICKING BUCKS.

I woulda bought the anime but they only come in a set and I dont have the budget for buying everything at once for $100.

I'd prefer to buy single volumes than the whole thing at once. But thats not an option unless I want to buy the movies.

You people should embrace the cheapskate way of life, as I have done--through regular and religious visitation of the used video shops in my area, I've managed to pick up the first two seasons of 'Slayers' (on VHS, subbed) for around eighty bucks.

Lina is pretty damned cool. You could do worse for a CoTW.

I would love to buy the Slayers box set. I've only seen the dub that's availible at my video store. I would have preferred to see Xelloss as CotW, but, oh well.
