Because I'm bored and burning to know what you guys think of it so far. >_>

Good? Bad? You just passed a reeeeally good episode. (Nina~ T_T)

I had a friend who was really disturbed by what happened... but I hope there are some people who like the darkness of it, too.

It gets better. ^_^

FMA is good.It makes me remeber to have the tv on at 11.It has only made me sad once...(poor,poor Nina). When Ed found out about how Nina's dad made that first...whatever they called it...I was thinking"That sick b****** didn't,he did NOT use his wife and now his daughter to..."

FUNi has done a really good job of translating the dialogue, but the voices piss me off. Like Bard/Bald/Blah's voice in episode 5, sounded way too light/young.. not gruff at all. Ed's voice is okay, but it just seems off. FMA constantly changes from seriousness to comedy(especially a little later), and this guy doesn't really seem able to switch like that.

The "things" that Tucker (Nina's dad) was making and turned Nina/Alexander into is called a chimera, it is a fusion of two (or possibly more) animals.

Remember the dark-skinned guy with the scar on his face that killed Nina. He becomes SEVERELY IMPORTANT in a little while.

I watched the whole series subbed, and I finished just yesterday. A very good series, but not one of my most favorites, probably not in my top 5.

Alex Louis Armstrong is the best character ever.
*SPOILERS*

I was pretty disappointed with the ending. Just once, I thought I'd have a sensical and conclusive ending to an anime... but no.

That episode was very sad. I came pretty close to crying there, but I was more pissed off than sad. If I had gotten to that ****er before Edward did...

I was quite surprised that they'd do that to Nina in the show, really, and though I was sad and angry to some degree, I was also twistedly happy that they'd allow it. @___@() *sweatdrop*

I'd say my favourite character in the show is Hughes (HUUUUUGHES!) and Lust. Ah, Lust.

The End, let us pray for the movie. ^_^

There *were* some holes (GLUTTONY!), but the overall story made sense. I think I've got all the little tricky bits about Ed and F and where they are and why figured out, and why Al is why he is. Would like to talk it over if you would like. ^_^

They call me Carter.

My favorite characters were Armstrong, Hughes, Greed, and Pride. The last three have something in common. THEY DIED. I was so pissed off when Hughes died, and then Greed's death pissed me off because they built him up to be an important villain/character when he just dies after a few episodes, not to mention he was the coolest Homunculus and the only one I really liked so far (the others really annoyed me, esp. Envy). The Strongest Shield was an awesome power. And Pride... I was able to predict his true identity, and he was quite badass, but he hardly ever saw any action, so that disappointed me too.

I also started to like Scar, but not until they return to Lior, and you know what happened there. That made me mad too.

Lust... I really didn't like her until later, and right when I started to like her, she died. Gluttony I liked. He was funny. I felt bad for him when he started to miss Lust, though. The other Homunculi can go to hell.

My favorite episode would probably have to be the one focused around Mustang and his subordinates. That was HILARIOUS.

The ending I understood pretty well, but... meh, I don't feel like discussing it now.

Ah yes, Carter! Sorry, I never keep up with PDN changes, and I have a horrid memory. ^_^()

Lusto! Lusto~! Oh how I love Gluttony. Unfortunately, I heard they MADE HIM SOUND LIKE AN UGLY OLD MAN. HOW DARE THEY.

Oh, I loved that episode with Roy and his subordinates. That's my favourite episode too, or the one about Lust's past (gotta love that ending~).

Envy can go burn. Along with Wrath. >_>() Oh, that child would not shut up.

...I apologise to at least one individual here who I know likes Envy. >_>()

Ah, for those who are interested, the voice actor of Roy Mustang has a Livejournal (!). From what I've read, he's quite the person to be playing Roy-- the fangirls have already established themselves into a Miniskirt Army / harem.

http://www.livejournal.com/allpics.b...r=mustangactor

He's also coming to Anime North this year. XD Woot! Hopefully, I'll be cosplaying as Lust, my sister as Ed, so that shall work out wonderfully.

I quite like it. It's hilarious, yet serious. The actual beginning theme is in japanese(which isn't often shown in the U.S.A.), but is very well done.

Great show. Al is quite funny, being a golem...and talks like a kid.(not that he isn't, but it's still hilarious)

It's weird, the beginning they show now isn't supposed to be shown for like 6 more episodes. At least they didn't do a translation and try to sing it, like with Case Closed and Yu Yu Hakusho.

The US usually only uses one opening for a whole series though, not like in Japan.

I actually like the English opening for Case Closed. It wasn't as bad as others....anybody else try to gouge their eardrums out when they heard the Dragon Ball Z theme?

The opening was okay, but the credits sounded like gibberish-y engrish.

Indeed, they chose to use the second opening for FMA on top of the first opening video. Ready Steady Go is a good song, (YAY L'ARC!) but it's definitely really strange, since the coordination must be allll off.

I really have to wonder what they're going to do with the other two different themes for the opening. O_o() Will they keep it, or still play Ready Steady Go over them? ...The song will really not fit the last intro's images.

The group that sang the intro (L'Arc en Ciel) is a pretty big hit in Japan, and they're just breaking through in the US. The decision to have their song as the intro all the way through must be great for them. (All the same, though, go find the other intro songs; they're great too.)

FMA is friggin' awesome. Downloaded the sub, but I'm trying to resist finishing it quite so quickly (but I got all the way to like 43 before I could ). Definitely one of my faves ever, though I guess I might not have seen much anime.

Right now the American opening is played with Ready Steady Go's Music and Animation, so it's all good so far. I'm hoping they do Undo, 'cuz that's my favorite opening song. But we'll see. I'm more curious what they're gonna do about ending sequences, since most anime in America don't actually change them, but since the music starts as the episode ends for a few of them, I'm hoping they actually do change the music and animation...

Yeah, people I talked to were also quite disturbed by the last episode. It definitely was pretty demented, and it made me sad.
