You'll have to buy a DVD collection to see his works, although, I do remember TCM showing a marathon of Chaplin movies at one time.

I can't remember it so well, I saw it about 5 years ago. I do remember a robot girl and a rebellion against the robots and a lot of blood and dying. didn't the guy think the robot girl was human though?

Doomed Megalopolis was a decent watch, as well as Armitage, now that I recall. Demon slug insect things in one, crazy sci-fi action in the other..

I've only seen The Great Dictator. I love how they mock the German language.

I missed Castle in the Sky because of being in Chicago. Boo. How was it?

It was okay, not the greatest though. I've always been fond of Porco Rosso.

You may wish to rephrase that sentence. That would include "The Cat Returns".

I've always liked Akira, Nausicaa, the first three Digimon Movies (Digimon: The movie in america) Princess Mononoke, and Spirited away. Never seen Castle in the Sky or Howl's Moving Castle but I do have Castle in the Sky on TiVo. The second and third Inuyasha movies are also mentionable, though the third I found a tad predictable. (Not as predictable as the first...I practically knew the outcome of the entire film when it was halfway over)

howl's moving castle is great, I saw it the other day and it's a lot more interesting than spirited away. no offense to it, I just couldn't get into it.
