Appleseed and Akira. Gundam Wing: endless waltz. I really want to watch Ghost in the shell as well. though you leant me Akira, and you got me into appleseed, and I watched Gundam wing: EW with you. (I just noticed the humour, not intended). P.S. I was looking through VGcats, I thought you might find this funny. http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=104 who does it remind you of?

Vampire Hunter D is supposed to be good, though I've never seen it. Personally, I've only seen four anime movies.

Two are Pokemon. Yeah.

Third is Princess Mononoke, which I don't remember much of. I saw it when I was kind of young.

Fourth is Ninja Scroll. I went in looking for ninja action, what I got was borderline hentei. Seriously, in the first ten minutes of this movie we see a guy open the blouse of an unconsious ninja chick, suck her boobs, then lick her between the legs. Five minutes later, we see some guy dry humping some woman who keeps moaning and crying. Then there's that woman with a snake that come out of her... well, that area between her legs. O_O

Yes, but it's an utterly magical movie.

Steamboy, the original Ghost in the Shell, Spirited Away...those are probably my three favorites. Ghost in the Shell in particular.

Princess Mononoke was a good movie, as well as Spirited Away, or anything by Miyazaki for that matter. Though I can't think of too many other movies that don't involve knowing the series in and out. The Rurouni Kenshin OVAs were okay as stand-alones . . .

Holy crap, how the hell did I forget about Urusei Yatsura 2: Beautiful Dreamer?

Excellent movie, albeit slow paced.
