No but Gundam Wing is one of the Best shows of all time.

It used to show on Toonami, you noobs. I saw it myself.

The UC continuity is the best thing about the entire Gundam franchise, but the original show is actually one of the worst. 0083, 0080, and 08th MS Team were all excellent, however.

^ you must remember though, the origonal Mobile Suit Gundam series was made back in 1979 unlike the other three you mentioned which were made in the 80's and 90's. of corse the first series isn't going to look as good because anime was still budding in that time period and they had a low budget to work with.

I's actually a very good anime if you can realize what I just said and appreciate it for what it is. plus it's the first true mecha anime in which the machines were piloted instead of being remote controlled or moving on their own. hell Mobile Suit Gundam inspired great animes like Patlabor, Macross, even the legendary anime Neon Genesis Evagellion among others. we wouldn't have the mecha genera of anime today if Mobile Suit Gundam had not been made.

sure the quality sucks but it's still a great anime!

Jet Jaguar wasn't a mecha, he was a robot, and VOLTRON was a sentai anime, like the power rangers and star blazers and Voltron came after Gundam!
