It's not the greatest anime ever, but it's not as bad as most people say it is. The movie is great, too.

I don't think it's bad at all. It could be better, sure, but it sure as hell blows any Gundam show out of the water...

The ending was the "Instrumentality" episodes, right?

Yeah, decent show, but the ending just blew.

Have yet to see the movie, and I'm told that it really can't be censored for even Adult Swim standerds (violence and...um, Shinji is seen masturbating? wtf?)

I haven't seen all of it, but the beginning theme does rule. Good show, overall. I wonder if they ever made a pure english theme dub yet...which I don't want one, but just wondering. It'd pretty funny, which loads of sexual references that just scream to gut to laugh. Okay, so I can't think of good words right now, but I like the show.

^Hey, now, I hate the show myself, but I can at least admit that those model kits are pretty neat. I've got around twenty-odd of them, and they were all fun to put together. (Like Legos, but with a slightly higher chance of maiming oneself with a craft knife.)

I like 'Evangelion'. I like the earlier episodes better, before the series gets all weird around episode 20-odd, but it's all enjoyable (if not fully comprehensible). The movies are pretty good, too.
