Well, since this got bumped by somebody voting, I'll give my input.

While the Simpsons suck nowadays, they actually had some good stuff back in the days.

Once in a while Family Guy strikes gold, but most of the time I watch it completely stone faced. Most of the show's jokes fall under three categories:

1) Fanboy servicing with no real joke, just some pop culture reference to tickle people
2) Jokes that I guess are supposed to be funny because of how absurdly long they are, but are really just annoying
3) OMG! We said "TESTICLES" on television!

Where are these lemmings going? Not the Super Nintendo Super Shire! They know to go to Codiekitty.com now!

The Simpsons WAS good, back then. But now it's too many seasons and just boring...like Pokemon is(heh).

I got to go with Family Guy. It's not the ultimate show, but it is quite funny and doesn't overuse cliches(imo). I love the multiple references it does as well, I.E. different classic character appearences and such. Family Guy wins for me overall.

simpsons is different now because the comedy got darker since family guy appeared on the scene
