I hate Simpsons. It's not funny. At all. Very few episodes have any laughable humor at all. Family Guy is hilarious, though it's had it's unfunny moments. Especially the old episodes.

I voted for Simpsons. They were one of the first animated shows that I saw, and as such they bear certain nostalgical value to me. Second, compared to Family guy, they have much more funny momemnt(to me, at least). Which is kind of understandable, since they are on the scene waaaaaaaaaaaay longer than FG. Third, of all the FG characters, only Stewie and Brian are funny to me. Peter is too big of a retard to be funny(plus, he's a jerk, major one), Chris is.... well, the term plain would suit him best, and Meg pulls of pretty much the same c**p all the time. Lois is perhaps the only character that I find better than Marge.

While it is true that Simpsons got vastly inferior compared to their golden age(7 - 12 sesion), I still find them better than FG. That is not to say that I don't like FG. I do. I just like Simpsons better.

Oh yeah, um, American Comedy Shows Fail and all, jumping the shark, unfunny, blah blah, American Comedian are Awesome... We need some more shows based on our Comedians.

It's had it's unfunny moments? Yes, it has. Especially the old episodes? No.

Family Guy has gone HORRIBLY down hill recently. The older episodes are the only things that aren't complete crap. I mean, sure, if you're a preteen who laughs at all the *coughpeniscough* jokes, then I guess it is the show for you.

However, I find that shows that revolve around making sexual jokes are highly unwatchable. The first season or two are the only good episodes.

Futurama
Simpsons (While yes, it is pretty bad now, the genius of the old episodes makes up for it)
Family Guy
King of the Hill

Sephiroth Kirby, you obviously have a MUCH different opinion than me. I think dirty, stupid humor is funny, unless it's too stupid. Now I'm not saying I'll laugh at those fart jokes, but to me, there is NOTHING wrong with dirty humor.
In fact, all I've seen is the older Simpsons episodes and all I can do while watching it is sit there and have the occasional chuckle. Now Family Guy, it is getting too stupid for my liking, but unless I'm out on a Sunday, you damn right I'm going to watch it.
