The old episodes were entertaining, but now, the show sucks bad. Stewie, especially. The whole "evil baby" gimmick has worn out, and isnt funny. |

First of all, there's no way I can take your argument seriously if you misspell every other word. Secondly, Macfarlane said that he was inspired by shows like The Simpsons and it sort of became his own mix of it. Holy hell, someone liked a show so much they based their show off of it! Alert the internet! Now understand this: Family Guy has less in common with The Simpsons than you think. The dad is an overweight idiot. Don't tell Archie Bunker that Homer Simpson ripped him off. When was the last time Peter owned his own plow business? Does Santa's Little Helper deliver witty banter in every episode? Is Chris as much a hardass as Bart? Is Lisa as angst-filled as Meg? Every time an animated show has a similar plot to some episode of The Simpsons, you fanboys immediately scream "OMG PLAGIARISM!!". May I direct you to a certain South Park episode where Butters finds out "The Simpsons did it"? And as far as Stewie's character being a tired cliche, that just shows how much you watch the show and how shallow you are for making a broad assumption based on several instances. If you really paid attention, you'd find that there's a lot more depth to Stewie's character than just some megalomanicial mastermind. Watch a few more episodes before you judge, preferrably all of them. ~Dylan | |
