Nicktoons sucks for their disdain for Anime.

Nicktoons, for those who have it, is a spinoff off of Nickelodeon. It has all of their cancelled shows, plus some originals. But here's the problem. A little original entitled Kappa Mikey. It takes every single anime element, then stupifies it by putting all through the eyes of some american dude who plays on an "Anime" called lilymu. It takes all of anime down a notch just by existing, and thats not even all. An old episode of Fairly Oddparents entitled "Channel Chasers" made fun of two anime (Though the subject matter anime are both incredibly stupid shows, this is still a poke at anime.) by making the characters randomly shout "Ohh, ah ohh" every two seconds. Nickelodeon deserves to have its creator rot in hell, dammit, and I mean it!

That is the reason I hate Kappa Mikey.

Companies that make shows like Fairy Odd Parents, or Sponge Bob, Or even Cartoon Network, They should stop trying to put anime elements into there shows.

First American Anime series?! I've seen hundreds of Anime-style American cartoons before. This is no an American Anime. It's a parody and an insult. The people at TV Guide don't know what "Innovative" means.

I can't wait for Japan to make an anime about a Japanese character in an american cartoon!

Well, considering with Teen Titans they ruined a potentially good show by sticking Anime stuff in. That should have been something more like Batman or Superman. -CSM

^now hold on a minuet, teen titans was an example of americans trying to do anime well and the same thing goes for Avatar: the last air-bender. but I agree kappa mikey is an insult to anime and the creator of it sould be sevearly hurt for it, same thing with those who think it's okay to dumb down anime for america.

I agree, those shows are great. But Kappa Mikey is an insult to Anime. Too bad Japan can't sue the creator for made them look stupid.

I think Fox Kids is the greatest offender, in the way of licensing s****y shows and manufacturing some of the worst Anime-wannabes possible.

You can't say you like something, until you can make fun of it.

It's parody, don't take it so seriously.

(I love Kappa Mikey, and I'm really happy that the new episodes are going to air on the regular Nickelodeon)

Eh. It's not like this is the first time America bastardized something from another culture.

How expected.

Actually... I liked when Dexter and Family Guy ripped off Speed Racer

"HE DIDN'T! HE DID THE EXACT OPPOSITE! HE WON! AND WINNING IS THE PART I LIKE MOST ABOUT RACING, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE WINNER IS MY SON!"

You can't say that episode wasn't good!

Your right, any thing good in Japan, America takes. Drifting, Gameing ( although Microsoft is strong, Nintendo and Sony are two stronger companies ) and even anime. But it seems like America does every thing worse. America tries to make things more appropriate for kids, That's alright some times, But it often ruins things.

I like anime and cartoons, but Kappa Mikey is JUST PLAIN STUPID.I've watched it, and i think its stupid, and it should be destroyed. The creator (as said before) should AT LEAST go through a LOT of pain. Demonstation of how stupid Kappa Mikey is: KM<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<Stupi dness. And I wonder if this should be moved to the Things That Suck forum....

Before Donkey Kong was dreamed of, Pong and Pac-Man were king.

Videogames are not dominated by either side of the pond in terms of development, but we did not "rip off" videogames from the Japanese.

And on the whole our RPGs kick the hell out of theirs.

THERE I SAID IT
