It's because Tintin is European. When we think of cartoons, we think of American cartoons and Japanimation. We hardly remember that there are four more inhabitable continents that may or may not have cartoons on them. Europe certainly does. -CSM

Ah, I used to go to my local library a lot to check out Tintin books. I loved them. I probably still do. I have one Tintin book right now...

(By the way, my favorite character was that Sailor Guy who liked rum. I don't remember names right now...)
