IMO, it's one of the best animes out there at this time.

A HUGE difference they edited the crap outta it just for kid friendly stuff, like removing all the blood, death, swearing, hell cutting WHOLE episodes.

Alot, actually.

At first, I just thought it was just a bunch of weeaboos complaining about it because that's just one of the many things they'll do. And because of that, I just ignored them.

Then I decided "what the hell" and watched the Japanese version of the 1st One Piece (courtesy of youtube.)

Well, not only did they do alot of bullsh*t editing/censoring (Like Helmeppo's gun has been turned into....uh, whatever the hell this is;

But they also decided to cut out quite a bit of animation per episode, turning the original 102 episode show into a 70 episode show (That's 32 episodes worth of missing animation) And because of it, they actually merged some episodes together and missed quite a few major story arcs.
