It was a pretty good anime about the horrors of war and how it harms the people involved.

It's an older series and I don't think it's being shown any more, but it caught my eye when I was flipping through the channels and stopped on AZN.
I don't know if it will be broadcast again, but a lot of channels rebroadcast animes like this once or twice a year.
