Death note rocks so much...

I started watching this anime, anyone else seen it? Light Yagami and L are badass. Ryuk is also badass.

This show... Is freaking awesome... It's intelligent, powerful, a bit frightening... And Ryuk is one badass Shinigami. As to say a lot, this show is definately better than pretty much every anime I've ever seen. MUCH better than the other anime I experimented with today.

*recieves five*

Yeah... I'm a bit shocked at some of the deaths... Especially the one that comes later, that'll put a stop to your heart....

Spoiler Below
Poor L, he was such a cool character... And, he was so clever... Oh well. Buh-bye, monkey boy.

Anyway, it's fun to watch the clever ways Light uses to kill his foes, and then the deductions said foes make. As soon as they get a lead...

BAM.

Death note'd.

It isn't in English yet. You'll have to either download the subs or watch them on YouTube.

^Yes. Yes, you really should watch this. It isn't "omg liek actshun", but it is a seriously intelligent and tense show. It's very good.

I watched the first episode of the anime on YouTube. ...Couldn't read the subtitles, since they were in Chinese, but I've read the first two GNs, so I had a general idea what they were saying.

I love the series, even though I had the ending spoiled for me.

Aww, that sucks.

I read the whole manga, I regret doing so now, I'd prefer to see it animated. XD >.<

I'm glad they say almost exactly the same thing as the graphic novels.

Masahiro, if you may, I must bump this. This anime is so freaking awesome. One of my friends has the manga, but, being the man I am, I watch anime. The whole deducing part is bloody awesome.

Spoiler Below
Narrowing the search to that region in Japan, then having a criminal staged as L to have him die to confirm the "Kira's" location, and... jeeze. It's bloody awesome.

For some reason, L just reminds me of Lupin. It shouldn't. That's insane.

It's ok, and tell me about it, all the deductions are freaking awesome.

I've never seen the anime, but if it's anything like the manga, it automatically becomes one of my favorite shows ever.

That is what I thought about Hellsing when it was first released in English.

Then I watched it. It was horrible, but at least Hellsing Ultimate is being released to gloss over the mistake.

Death Note seems to be one of the better current shows, but the only Manga > Anime I have ever seen that actually became better in the new format was Trigun.

I looked around for the Death Note anime.

It isn't in English yet, as you said, which explains why I couldn't find it.
