I have to correct some of you guys. The cartoons you said were on 4kids tv that were redubbed for kids....those were originally aimed at kids! Kirby, sonic, and that stupid wrestling show were all originally aimed at kids...just translated into english for american kids. So they never were for teenagers or adults but rather for kids.

Um, no? One piece was aimed for at 13 +, as was Shaman King and Yu-gi-oh, to my knowlegde. =)

Also, WvW, PLEASE DISCONTINUE BEING A CONDESCENDING ASSWIPE. Seniority matters not when you flaunt it around as if it were one-million dollars. People with attitudes like that are often "empty" and feel like putting forth falsely-smart comments to up their self-confidence. It doesn't help. Trust me. I've tried that.

Anyway, I think 4kids can just bathe in their damned money, and set it on fire. I can always watch the subbed versions of the Animes they kill, and therefore find much more supple entertainment.

4Kids have lost alot of rights to animes recently, such as Pokemon and One Piece, pokemon was the biggest blow because, that was one of their biggest money makers.

The author to Pokemon started, I believe, as a biology major dropout who started drawing Hentai. Of course, no artist can make it very far without H stuff.

I just love how almost the entire board is against anything western, but simply loves anything anime.

I liked Ed, Edd 'n Eddy up tell the point Eddy started going through puberty. His teenage angst = jumping the shark.

The only western cartoon I really watch is SpongeBob, because of its satirsm. That, and when the crazy neighbor screams "CHOCOLATE!!!" at the top of his lungs. But that's just me.
