i tried to watch it... I really did, its one of the ones that I could not get into because the humor was too.... ugh..... not funny....

Haven't seen it myself, but I've heard it's in the same vein as Excel Saga. This means victory in my book.

EXACTLY. It does have a story. That's what's so likable about it: almost everything is a metaphor, and even through the insanity, they keep a steady plot.

I think to understand this Anime, you need to speak the original language. Most of the visual gags and puns go right over an English speakers head.
