Afro Samurai (no spoilers) - VGF

So, I'm thinking about looking into the DVD. Anybody watched it? Is it any good?

I caught part of it on Spike. It seemed pretty good. Can't speak for the whole thing, of course, but, if it's on the cheap, you could do much worse.

Well it's either this or Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. Making decisions can suck, but VHD:B's lower price is somewhat balanced out by the idea that I'll be getting more for my money with AS. I mean, Sam Jackson as a samurai who delivers Ogami Itto-styled ass-whoopings to any fool who gets in his way? It seems like an easy buy.

I watched the whole miniseries. It's worth watching, but as far as buying, maybe. If there's a place to rent it from, I'd reccomend doing that first.
