What's the most depressing thing you've seen in an anime.

Easily grave of the fireflies. That was the saddest movie i've ever seen.

Either the last few episodes of Cowboy Bebop, Cowboy Bebop: The Movie, or some of the last few episodes of Trigun.

OAV: Grave of the Fireflies. I think that's a winner right there.

Otherwise? Cowboy Bebop. >=

I've never seen Cowboy Beebop.

I think the 2nd half of Android Kikaider was pretty sad, especially the ending. Almost everybody dies.

The most depressing sequence I've seen in an anime is probably the last part of Unico.

Rurouni Seisouhen. Seeing how much Kenshin had degraded was depressing, and the ending is extremely powerful.

In terms of plot, or in terms of how they dubbed it?

Anyway if you had seen it on Fox, were talking the girl villian person is now a guy...or was it a guy became a girl? Anyway they cut out various portions of the show so they just began to jump around all over the place. That sorta stuff.

^-- Yes, that's what I meant by the process of dubbing. >_>() I guess that doesn't have to do with the actual dub. Ehe.

The episode Paradise of Trigun was pretty depressing.... my favorite episode. Those who have it on DVD or recorded should watch it again and listen to the music in the Church during the final scene.
