It gets old immediately after the Shishio saga which is somewhere around episode 62 I believe. But, excellent series.

The majority of my anime is on my hard drive.

(It's being released by Media Blasters, which apparently distributes Anime, so it's entirely on topic.)
I forgot my DiGi Charat fansubs: episodes 1,2,4, and Party Night (17?).

I bought Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal at Target. I almost bought Escaflowne, but I didn't.

I have... The first DVD of Lain (I definitely want the others)
The Animatrix DVD
Akira Special Edition DVD
Darkside Blues DVD

I don't buy something unless it strongly keeps my attention. I want Ghost in the Shell the movie on DVD, and I want the series when it comes out over here... I wouldn't mind Escaflowne the movie, but I'm not going to go out of my way to get it.
.. I usually rent stuff from Anime Retropolis in Lakewood. Just west of Cleveland..

My collection is pretty big. Mostly action, sci-fi, and fantasy--I don't really go in much for romantic comedies and the like.

By the way, if you're looking to buy anime cheap, I suggest import DVDs. The all-region discs most importers sell work on any DVD player (PS2 and X-Box included), and they're loads cheaper than the domestic equivelant. (Case in point--a week ago, I received an order from my importer of choice, containing all of 'Trigun', the first set of 'One Piece', two volumes of 'GITS: Standalone Complex', a disc of 'Astro Boy', and the film 'Memories'. The whole order cost me just over a hundred bucks.)

Excellent movie, Samurai X, albeit a bit depressing. Heavily inspired me in the battlefields.

^- I don't know how that whole image works, but it's true. XD The director's commentary for each episode is like a whole NEW episode, because the way you look at it is so very different when listening to him. O_o So really, it's 4 episodes per DVD. XD;;

FLCL has director commentary? How's that work? Does the director speak English?
