Got any favorites? I'm working on one now (Full Metal Alchemist AMV) and I need some inspiration and ideas for music. It'll be my first one... ^^'

Eh, my favorites... if anyones seen the Tainted Donuts AMV (Trigun and Cowboy Bebop) that would easily be the best one. Freakin' awesome... featuring a rap song by the Japanese rappers ShakkaZombie. Freaky? Yep. Still cool? Yep.

And if you havent seen it, you can find it here. (you need a Fileplanet account to download it though... I couldn't find any other sites to download it from.)

Yes, a little more info would help. The theme, the mood, etc.... ^_^

I like the Vash vs. Spike one by The Great Wang to Smooth Criminal by Michael Jackson.

I also like Weird FLCL. It's an FLCL video to The Alternative Polka by Weird Al.

http://www.cybermoonstudios.com/CMMOVIESOnline.html Check it out.

metallica's "hero of the day" music video has a bunch of clips from Dragon Ball and so far it's my favorite AMV that I've seen.

I saw an EVA one this summer. The song was 'Engel', by Rammstein. During the instrumental portions, it's just your garden-variety symbolic robot mayhem, but, during the singing, they synched up clips of Asuka talking with the deep-voiced main vocal, and Shinji with the female back-up singers. The whole thing is deeply disturbing on a fundamental level. I love it.

There was also one based on Memories, a little-known flick from Katsuihiro Otomo. Features a techno remix of 'Phantom of the Opera'. Pretty good.

Oh yeah, might have been smart to post what mood and what music I'm trying to get...

Eh, mood is serious, I guess... trying to use all the action and dramatic scenes from FMA (and if anyone's watched it, you know theres a lot >_&gt

Music... rock. I was gonna use Gone Away by Offspring, but the music didn't really match the mood of what I was aiming for (plus the timing was freakin' impossible.) So I guess I'm looking for something a little intense, but not Linkin Park (One Step Closer... scary song) or punk intense. Just... emotional.

Mebbeh some Evanescense...

http://www.animemusicvideos.org

That's most likely the biggest archive of anime music videos on the internet.

One of my favorites would probably be "The Anime Polka"(using the song "Polka Power" by Weird Al), using various anime.

Intense, eh? Might I suggest Kryptonite? Though it's a bit overused... 8P Maybe Godsmack's I Stand Alone? I don't remember anything about Full Metal Alchemist, so that may be inappropriate.

Another one that might be on the site I posted that was really good was "In the Arms of Vash the Angel" or something. Almost brought me to tears... but I'm too manly.

Hmm....I'm considering chaining Katsuchiyo to the forum until we can extract all his info out of him Seriously, though, thanks for the sites, everyone. I love watching AMVs ^_^
