Good, you weren't serious.

http://www.miburo.com/ This is where I found out a bunch of the stuff about Saito. A pretty cool Saito fansite. http://www.miburo.com/info/reallife.html this page is about the real-life Saito.

Oh, and the technique the gatotsu was based off of was called the hiratsuki.

EDIT: Yeah, Alucard is definitely badass. I only read one volume of the hellsing manga, I don't get whatever channel Hellsing shows on. I thought that psycho irish priest that threw bayonets around was pretty awesome, too.

Spike, Folken (woot!), Kakashi and Zabuza, Sesshomaru, usually anybody with really sexy broader shoulders. >_>() (Not that I love broader shoulders necessarily, it's just that they always seem to draw em with em.)

OH MY GOD HOW DID I FORGET ALUCARD FROM HELLSING!!!!

Seriously? This guy ownz pretty much all. Not many characters can be portrayed in individual positions and tremble with an aura of badassness regardless. His powers are awesome to behold, and his usage of the two UNGODLY guns of his is just plain wicked(who rmemebers THAT word...8D). Those of you who are Battlefielders may know Richter Delacroix was based off of this specimen.

In my opinion, it's definitely Hajime Saito from Rurouni Kenshin.
One of my all-time favorite characters from all of anime if only out of nostalgia. I found this awesome pin collectors thing of him at a store near me. I couldn't believe it.

Plenty of badasses in Naruto, Orochimaru and Sasuke are downright awesome. ^_^
