Anime Top 10 Poll March 9 2004

Alright, every week, if i remember i'm gonna do a random top 10 poll. If i'm not feeling so lazy i might figure the results of the poll. If you really want to, you can post reasons why, but that's optional. Pleases mention what series they're from.

This week's, top 10 favorite bad guys. Not nesscarily the move evil ones.

Anyway, mine

1. Legato (He wants the death of everyone on earth or whatever planet trigun takes place on and has one of the coolest lines ever. "To think, I could kill every man, woman, and child here right now. The power of death is intoxicating. He also is the focus of the best episode of trigun, Sin.)
2. Xaha Torte (Freaking powerful, completely insane (he wants the rebirth of the world by its destruction)
3. Vicious (Bebop, Some of the coolest lines, great fights. Awesome bad guy)
4. Mad Pierrot (Bebop, freaking insane clown thingie that can block bullets and has a huge collection of firearms)
5. Master Asia (G Gundam, Love the ribbon thing, he's just cool. Plus his and domon's final battle ruled.)
6. Valgaav (Slayers, Insanely powerful, with the power of two of the higher demons, plus he just looks cool)
7. Folken (Escaflowne, Cool, cool character)
8. The fox guy in slayers try who uses guns and bombs (He earns a spot on this for one reason. He's an underling who actually does something right. He completely traps Lina and the others in a nearly hopeless situation, and actually accomplishes what he was trying to do, well before they get out of it of course. He IS a badguy no matter if he was successful.)
9. Buu (DBZ, First form was funny, and Kid buu was just the most pyschotically powerful things ever created.
10. Rando (Yu Yu hakusho, Dunno why, just really liked him. Would've liked to see a few more of his 99 techniques)

I'm doing this as I go along,so it's in no paticular order.

10.Roto(YYH).He's my favorite non-main character in YYH!Anyway,threatening to have Kurama's mother killed as soon as he starts losing was genius.Then,he beat on Kurama like a toy,until he had his full.Too bad Kurama turned him into a bloody mess with his shimaneki sou.His green coat is cool,by the way.

9.Doctor(YYH).He's an insane doctor who has the ability to slice human flesh with his bare hands.He has an army of disease-carrying insects,he can't feel pain,and he's a murderous psychopath who hates humans and is helping to create a hole from the Earth to the demon realm.He's a scary bastard.His fight with Yusuke is really stylized.The shadowing and animation make it stick out from other fights in YYH.Unfortunately for YYH fans who watch cartoon network,I think there's too much to edit to show the whole Sensui saga.

8.Toguro(YYH).Well,He seems evil at first,killing specators left and right,but at the very end of the dark tournament,you start to feel sorry for him.He's still ruthlessly strong.He can make a person's head explode by tapping it. O_O

7.Monev the Gale(Trigun).The first really evil villain in Trigun.He destroyed an entire town just to kill Vash.Too bad he looks so incredibly stupid.

6.Leonof the puppet master(Trigun).he just sits somewhere far away and lets his dolls do the dirty work.He can disguise his dolls as anyone,too.

5.Mad Pierrot(Cowboy Bebop).This guy's insane.He kills random people for no reason at all.He has a huge arsenal of weapons,he's a better fighter than Spike,and has psychic powers.However,he's a wuss if he gets hit.

4.Zakuro(Ninja Scroll).She makes people explode.While they're alive.And sews their mouths and eyes closed.Nuff said...But she's also a selfish *****,who'd kill her own team-mates is things don't go her way.I hate her.

3.Knives(Trigun).Many people favor Legato over Knives,but I like Knives more.He's smarter than Legato,who's just a mindless slave.(Not literally,but...)Wherever Vash goes,death follows,thanks to Knives.

2.Vicous(Cowboy bebop).Just reeks of evil-ness.Extremely manipulative,and back-stabbing.

1.(once again,this is in no real order)Legato(Trigun).Who needs a gun when you have psychic powers?Anyway,what hasn't been said about Legato...He's just evil.The episode titled 'Sin' was one of the most memorable thanks to Legato.
But beware his dubbed voice. *Hisss*

Folken though he's not really really one in the series, and uh... Zabuza.... and... *strains really hard* Anyone with depth in their character and story and show more than two emotions.

Oh..And a runner up.
That Badass Catholic priest from Hellsing.
And...Uh..No..Wait..
Would Atomsk from FLCL count as an antagonist?That thing's cool.

Alexander Anderson, Iscariot Paladin, of anime "Hellsing":

I have a thing for fanatical religious devotees, and this guy is no exception. Self-righteous and sadistic, these are the deluded who make very good villains in my opinion(coughChrysalidscough). Also, there was a very interesting relationship between himself and Alucard. Alucard, being very egotistical(and badass whee) sees everyone lower than him. Alexander is the only opponenet who he's considered on his level, or close to.

^ he was the only opponent Alucard respected?What about Incognito?

Seemed to give the same flack to Incognito in the end as he did with one of the brothers he faced. I think there was a sort of understanding between Anderson and Alucard, an honor of sorts.

1. Professor Tomoe (Sailor Moon) - Yes, I used to watch Sailor Moon. I really like how this guy appeared when his face was obscured in the dark. He wasn't nearly as good when his face is shown, though.

2. Dr. Albert Wiley (Megaman) - Well, since both anime and other cartoons are allowed, I can't not choose him. Being a cheesy villain in one of the most hilarious shows--unintentionally--gained him this spot.

3. Commander Breetai (Robotech) - He's so badass that he can bash up several Veritechs piloted by the best of SDF-1's pilots with his bare hands, yet he's mesmerized by songs. Why wouldn't I love him?

Too lazy to list any more.

10. Rando (Yu Yu Hakusho)-I liked his human disquise. Then again, character designs are a high point in Yu Yu Hakusho. I also would have liked to see more of his 99 techniques too.

9. Emperor Pilaf, Mai, and Shu (Dragon Ball)-Their shennanigans cracked me up.

8. Cell (DBZ)-It took so long to kill him, how could you not include him?

7. Professor Gill (Android Kikaider)-I liked him. He was a pretty good villian, especially how he came back even though he was dead.

6. The Zakos (SD Gundam)-Yeah, so I like the Zakos. They just crack me up with their huge amounts of stupidity and how they can't even seem to beat anyone.

5. The Dark Masters (Digimon season 1)-They were pretty worthy villians, alot like the Saint Beasts from Yu Yu Hakusho in Digimon-except for how Machindramon was defeated in just like 2.5 freaking seconds-Wargreymon is soooo cheap.

4. Dr. Ichigaki (Yu Yu Hakusho) He caused a man to be deathly ill, stole 3 innocent lives, attempted to steal Yuske's body, and had almost caused them to die. Then he tried to kill Yuske himself-Yep, he's a big villian allright.

3. The Black Ghost organization (Cyborg 009) They kill their own scientists, they kill their own men, kill many others, and kidnapped random people off the streets and remodeled them for their weapons use-How could you not include Black Ghost?

2. Naraku (Inuyasha) He stole the Shikon jewel from Kikyo, caused her to betray Inuyasha and pin him to the sacred tree, put a curse on Miroku's family (The wind tunnel), Took Control of Kohaku and made him kill all of the demon slayers except for himself and Sango, and for manipulating Sessomaru to try to kill Inuyasha, I'd say he's a worth villian.

1. Myotismon (Digimon seasons 1 and 2) He pretty much caused massive turmoil in the real world in season 1, and when he was finally defeated, he posessed Owi Kawa who then pretty much caused everything to happen in Season 2, The black spores, The Digimon Emperor (Ken), Arukenimon and Mummymon, and Owi Kawa's evil plans.
