Duel Masters

I've only seen one episode and I don't like it. I don't hate it or anything, I'm just not interested. I mean, I'm not accusing it of ripping off of Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic the Gathering like those Gamefaqs idiots, sure, the card game reminded me of Magic: The Gathering and Magi Nation (I'm sure I'm like the only one here who actually knows what the heck Magi Nation is), but the point is, I'm just not interested, and that kid with the glasses is TOTAL STEREOTYPE!!! I mean-Nasal voice, acts really smart, how stereotypical can you get?

Of course I bet once the Yu-Gi-Oh fanboys see that show, they'll be all over it. That should be pretty interesting.

The villain guy with long hair looked like a demented version of Magus from CT. I can't remember his name though. Began with "Koj-" I think. Wasn't "Kojiro".

Oh, and didn't that nerd kid say he loses all the time? If he's supposed to be the stereotypical nerd, then he should be kicking everyone's ass at that game-The nerds almost always win card games like Magic the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, and whatever the heck that game is called.

It sucks. I saw one episode, and unlike Yu-Gi-Oh, they just show random attacks and crap. No strategy or anything can be seen, unlike in Yu-Gi-Oh. Perhaps it was that one episode, but I ain't watching that show again.

BTW, the original Manga did indeed have Magic: The Gathering. When the Anime came out, they came up with their own cards.

^And that's why I like Yu-Gi-Oh because of the strategy and I like how the monsters look and how they attack, but thank god duel masters doesn't have that "Heart of the cards" BS that makes Yu-Gi-Oh seem pretty stupid at times.

Awesome strategy involved in inventing various uses of cards that don't exist in the actual game.

Egh, I don't like it. I have agree though...it rips off Yu-Gi-Oh(and Magic, for the actual card game) in everyway possible. Ok well not really in EVERYWAY but still rips it off. Only is much more crappy.

Kokujo is...relatively cool. They tryed WAY too hard to make him look evil. It shows.

One thing I hate is when the characters refer to the actual show going on. What I mean is...they will say something if the music changes, camera is strangely close, ect. It makes it hard to take the show seriously.
