| Guest | Two anime's I know that I think are definitley better in english than in the original japanese. First is Rurouni Kenshin, its an alright show but the thing is in japanese Kenshin's voice is done by a girl! That's my only complaint and its terrible. Second is Dragon Ball Z, I haven't seen the japanese but of what I heard when they power up they sound like a high-pitched girl. Does any one else think any anime is better in english or the way it was originally made? |

Although I still find subbed superior because FUNimation destroyed the series by cutting most of the adult humor and changing the soundtrack. Kenshin's voice is done by a girl in Japanese, but it actually fits how I imagined his voice very well. J Shanon Weaver, who voiced Kenshin for the Samurai X OVAs and movie, is also very good. |

| Guest | Even though Kenshin's voice is done by a girl, the voice fits the character, IMO. Now about DB/DBZ/DBGT... Well, they probably didn't want to hire someone knew for when Goku passed puberty for some odd reason. So they kept their voice actress, and of course his kids have to have a similar voice... I think that's how it worked. ![]() |

| Guest | I disagree. I enjoy subs far much more than dubs. Oh, I do enjoy CCS' English voices better, only for the fact that they SQUEAK (quite literally) in Japanese. It's that high. O_o Most of the time, a woman voice actor does a plenty good job for a male voice. Don't judge depending on the gender. Judge on if the voice fits, and the quality of the seiyuu's work. Kenshin's voice was great, and fit. |
