What is Wolf's Rain?

I'm heard its coming on by people on hear as well as other websites though I went onto cartoonnetwork.com and checked the schedule and I didn't see Wolf's Rain whatsoever. Is it coming on or what? And I hear everyone is saying its a great show what the heck is it about? I never hear any one saying at all about that.

I saw it for the first time last night. I really liked it, even though I barely had any idea what was going on. I got the gist of it; wolves are in a city in human form, and in this society wolves are seemingly hunted like witches.

So far my favorite character is the gritty old drunk with the big black dog and the huge rifle. Is he a recurring character? I sure hope so.

I watched the first episode and the one last night. So far its pretty good, and the old man with the rifle was in the first episode also I'm guessing he's going to be in the show for a while. Wolf's Rain is only 26 episodes though.

Lots of anime are only 26 episodes long and I prefer it that way.

Yea, the second episode rocked and now it appears we have a villain. Can't wait for next week.

Yes, it's confusing as heck, so I'm thankful I had it on computer and could rewatch it several times to get it. X_X()

When it was released in Japan, for some reason (I think it was because they couldn't make them fast enough?) there were four filler episodes that were all pure recap, and they had to release the four actual episodes of it seperately. I'm wondering if they'll take out the filler episodes and show the actual ones....

All I know about the crazy old guy is that he's saying wolf's exist (they're supposedly extinct) and he's trying to hunt them, he almost killed one of them on last nights episode. He also has a dog that can track down the wolves that are disguised as humans, I think...
