Back then, it was (unfortunately) customary to alienate an entire ethnicity during wartime. Remember how all Japanese people, including Japanese Americans, were sent to concentration camps? And during WWI, we had a saying "Grab your gun and fight the Hun!" and there were people trying to get rid of anything that sounded remotely German in this country. Even now, like with the whole Freedom Fries controversy. -CSM

^I'd say the japanese and black people were on the same level as far as discrimination from WB goes but I did just see Popeye's cartoon "Your a sap mr.jap" in which he fights the japenese single-handedly.
