I think that my brother and I watched every Ren and Stimpy episode when we were young. Looking back, I think it might have been a little demented, but I loved it. The Tick, Angry Beavers, Samurai Jack, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Rocko, Gargoyles... I miss a lot of old cartoons that don't air anymore (or rarely). |

If that were on Nick, I'm not sure that all the kids would get it. When I go back and watch old cartoons, I find that there are some pretty dirty jokes that I missed as a kid. Kids are so innocent. And on that note, thank you, Val, for helping to corrupt the masses. |

| Forum Host | Ren and Stimpy would have to be one of the most controversial cartoon ever. You could make a whole DVD from it's Banned Episodes. Now, SING THE ROYAL CANADIAN KILTED YAKSMAN SONG! |

It was much more innappropriate than the Nick version. Also, Nick isn't very observant in the censory category. On Hey Arnold!, they said "crap" and "ass" at some points in the series. |

The horrible part is that I didn't get the jokes when I was little. I love re-watching really old cartoons that I used to love and being able to UNDERSTAND the jokes!! ![]() |
