In the year 2005, the Autobots and the Decepticons are still locked in battle, but a deadly new force enters the fray--a giant killer planet known as Unicron. The heroic Autobots must fight for their own survival and to save their home planet from destruction.

Can someone explain to me why I never saw or heard any of this back in 2005? Apparently they've been spending some amount of time fighting on our planet or something?

hmmm...well, i heard about it. that must explain why a giant laser cannon is right above and aimed at my head.no!leave me alone!i don't have any energon! aaaaahhhhh!!!!my skull!!!
