the 80s still rocks allright to bad that only a handful of these series ended up in swedish television, mostly due to the fact that until 1989 sweden only had 2 channels.

90's were worse. They had a cartoon about MC Hammer. That's bad enough.

Ugh. The eighties. That era makes me feel sick, for some reason; maybe it's being reminded that Hair Metal once existed, or perhaps being assaulted by the general thought that people once enjoyed covering their hair in Mousse and then forming it into a cretin hive of tyranny, but hey, I'm a child of the nineties. I'd have to have experience that 'glorious' hair-band laden era first hand.

That said, I loved the Thunder Cats.

The 80s and hair-metal gave birth to better music than anything the modern era could produce with the power cosmic on its side.

I remember that Gargoyles frickin' blew my mind when I was really young. It probably set the stage for me being into Alan Moore and Frank Miller and such in my later years.

The thing is, I first saw this show when my first grade teacher showed it in class on the last day of school.

That teacher was awesome.

^What's up with the non-animated Mario's hair? He has a flat afro or something.
