| Member | I was at Barnes & Noble, looking for some Manga. I decided to look at Deathnote, since everyone here is a fan of it and I wanted to see if it was cool or not. I read the first Volume, and it's pretty cool. It's interesting that instead of the usual Daring Hero, Light Yagami actually will kill innocent people. Well, he tried. The design of Light Yagami looks like a mixture of Dante, a little bit of Riku, and somewhat like Sasuke from Naruto. |

| Gunjinkeeper | Speaking of which, the finale aired tonight. I had already seen it, but still... One hell of an appropriate ending. |

| Cooler than you and you ****ing know it. | I got really into it during the first few episodes, then I went on vacation and missed two episodes. I planned to watch them online but never got to 'em. I'll probably sit down and watch the entire series sometime soon. |

Buy the encyclopedia (sp?) and read the Pilot manga. It's very good as well, so much so it should be adapted into a full series. The art is badass eh? Doesn't Light look delightfully insane? |

| Member | Yeah. What happened at the end? I'm probably never going to be able to have time to read them all, so please tell me. |

| Gunjinkeeper | Um, no. Watch the show, read the series, or get your spoilers somewhere else. I can't find it in me to spoil, or allow someone to spoil, such a masterpiece. Last edited by M. Hercule Poirot; 07-08-2008 at 12:46 AM. Reason: lulz typo |

| Runic Lightning Gunner | Okay, if you really want to know. In a severe plot-twist, it is revealed that Ryuk is in fact, a mamodo, and the Death Note is his book. So, after an epic battle, Zatch and Kiyo burn the Death Note, resulting in Ryuk being sent to the mamodo world. Light is then bitchslapped. Yeah, didn't see it coming either. |
