(Kirby) Besides the odd title and no direct following of any of the games' storylines, Shonen Jump didn't screw up that badly on this one. Oh, and I also hate how they would sometimes make some of the characters 3D for no reason besides (probably) a lazy excuse for animation. Otherwise, the only thing I really liked was the ability concepts in anime form. They did tag on a couple of extra things to ablities that I don't like so much (for instance, kirby learned some type of energy-projected slash in one episode with the sword ability). Voice acting and dialouge was okay for most characters...I sometimes hated when some characters yelled something out for no reason without the needed emphasis. Some lines are over-exagerated and could use a softer tone. In fact, the only very calm characters in the entire show are probably Metaknight and Kirby. The producers seemed to make the most of staying far from the storyline of any game and made the oddest, yet seemingly awesomest things ever to happen in a Kirby anime. (For instance, King DeeDeeDee gets a LIGHTSABER CHAINSAW in one episode.) PROs:
This isn't really a review, but just more of my own opinion. I could probably try harder and put it on something like TV Tropes, but I'm already on VGF, and I'd like to see other opinion because I'm really bored. So, a forum best saticefies me. |

The voices are pretty annoying, but it could be worse. Meta Knight has that latin voice that makes the show awesome on it's own. __________________ /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ WON’T YOU BECOME A MAGICAL GIRL? | |

LET'S MAKE THEM LOOK LIKE COLORED WADS OF SILY PUTTY! No one will ever know the difference." Seriously, though. It sticks out like a sore thumb and looks really bad. |

Aside from that one release from years ago that had less than five episodes on it? I really liked it... It was cute, even if inaccurate to the source. Also, ditto on the random 3D switches being creepy. |
