I've been watching Nichijou (slice of life/crazy wacky stuff) and A-Channel (high school girls). Out of those two, I'd only recommend Nichijou, but even then I'd understand if it's not anyone's cup of tea. The big anime of last season was Puella Magi Madoka Magica (I mean, seriously, checkout the tag cloud for that anime). I'd certainly recommend it to you; try watching at least episode 3. Some other anime that might be interesting, but I haven't looked into it yet: C: The Money of Soul and Possibility Hanasaku Iroha There's some guy which goes by the charming moniker "chartfag" who makes pretty comprehensive visual charts of the anime of every season, so you can also check that out (first hit on Google search) |

However, I can list some that I think you'd enjoy, though they may not necessarily be new. You've probably watched, or just aren't interested in Death Note. Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood came out recently. Oh, there's Casshern: Sins that was translated recently. Also, I've been seeing on the DVR guide that there's some anime called 'Kekkaishi' or something like that on. |

The newest thing I've seen is a few episodes of Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. And the first season of Arakawa Under the Bridge. And like two episodes of Moryo no Hako. I'm not in the position to recommend anything. Although, I've been wanting to watch some Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Especially since some singers I like covered the ending theme. | |

I actually like all of the characters, and it has a pretty awesome concept. Only problem so far is that it's been a bit slow. It's only 9 episodes in though, so it's got time. Nichijou is also pretty great. C has the best concept of the season, but I can't say I've been too fond of the show so far. Last edited by X-3; 06-05-2011 at 05:54 PM. |

Actually, I'd recommend it. It's still pretty slow-paced compared to some shows, but it's MUCH, MUCH more focused on the story than the original was. |
