Hayao Miyazaki (Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Spirited Away, etc.)
Dr. Seuss (you should probably know this)
Garry Trudeau (Doonesbury)
Thurop Van Orman (The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack)
