Thanks to HotD for making them and me for coming up with the idea and uploading them and being cool, users who have at least 500 posts and have been here for at least 140 days (I think) can now purchase default avatars at vbPlaza.

In conjunction with this, I've also given a slight boost to the size of avatars for veterans.
