New Server - VGF

If you're seeing this, you are on the new server. Compared to the last upgrade, this is a lot more significant. The previous server was a single processor Pentium Duo. The new one is a dual processor dual core Woodcrest at nearly double the speed, with double the RAM, along with upgraded software that should further help with performance. I believe everything was transferred without issue, but let me know if anything pops up.

This should help to continue to allow VGF to expand and minimize issues we have been having lately with downtime. Currently, only VGF.com is on the new server. The affiliate sites will be moved over during the next few days.

VBPlaza? My main complaint was the amount of crud you couldn't turn off that would fill the user info pane.

That said, I can always greasemonkey those things into oblivion if they annoy me.

The only reason I'd want VBPlaza, is to abuse the Username change to oblivion

Yeah, I used to like username changing. That's how all those old accounts popped up when Shane merged stuff.

I half wonder if they can be renamed to Metal Man (most importantly, MetalMadMan) so the link can be made properly.

Then again, it doesn't really matter, now that I have a less elegant-but-functional one made out of friending my old names.
