I'd sooner you draw from whatever memory you have of it and then just flesh it out; that way it's your own interpretation of the basic idea.

A: It was big.

B: It was in a lake.

C: It may or may not have had an eye, tentacles, and/or a mouth with or without teeth.

@Auron: I'm pretty sure you can get a tablet from any place where computer stuff is sold. I'm sure Best Buy, Future Shop, Fry's, et al. hold them in stock, but any smaller shop should have them too. The one I use (apparently) retails for about $200 CDN; it was a hand-me-down from my uncle to my sister.
