I colored the Aveil lineart and turned it into, rather than Aveil, queen of Hippie Pirates, the generic Hippie Pirate. S1x needed it for the RPG so I had fun. Wheeeeee.

Woooooo!!! Uber uber happy with the way this came out. Just a random urge, but the hands are awesome and the shading is awesome, and those are two things I have issues with.

I think I really undershaded the fin, and it's reaaaalllyy monochromatic, but aside from that I really like it. :]

OK, fixed the color scheme and shaded the tail more. :]

I have no idea. I drew her, then I drew the mirror thing and then for one reason or another I drew her eyes looking all possessed. Maybe she's sad and possessed? I have no idea. I drew this on a whim. xD

Good stuff. You improve rather well, because in a year you've gotten pretty good and I took three years to even learn how to draw a flat human being. This is why I decided art wasn't for me. But you? You're going somewhere, pally-o.

OK, this is the last update of this picture. I'm moving on now. xD

I smoothed out the tail because, frankly, the scales weren't really doing it for me. They kind of clashed with the rest of the smoothness anyway.

He certainly had a very discoteque appearance. Awesome, CL. I'll have to talk to you more about the game sometime. Also, I like the mermaid color-change, although I can't help but think of Disney. Girly cartoon movies = nawt for me. >_> I can also agree that the scales were a little too much, so I approve of the change.
