And SD doesn't draw much, so that's up in the air, Karg.

I finally bothered hooking up the scanner, so here's some random drawings/sketches I've done over the past year. They've been touched up a bit and a few have been filtered because the scanner made the images very sharp.

That guy doesn't have a name, I was just sketching and liked how it came out, so I did it up in color.

Again, this is basically just a variation of "A.I.", the guy that usually shows up with wings. I did a rough sketch a while ago, and decided to do a more "final" version of the design. I change up the art style I'm using pretty often, so this one has got the larger eyes I used to do more often.

Just a sketch I did during a car trip. I was looking at the Children of Mana instruction manual, and noticed a very similar picture of the same character. In the official art, his right arm was over-extended backwards at such an angle that it would either be dislocated or simply impossible. I decided to do the sketch just to correct it.

This one's a portrait of Killy, the main character of the manga BLAME! I did his face as close to the original manga style as I could be bothered doing. The background is part of the megastructure, a humongous ever-growing technological wasteland that has engulfed the planet.

Still more in another post.

...Continued

Just a Samus sketch, Metroids make it win.

MOAR SAMUS. THIS TIME SHE IS BLUE I DON'T KNOW WHY.

This is a sketch that I re-drew(without wings) on the tablet. The re-draw is on page 10.

Here's another AI sketch. This time he's communicating with someone via a spontaneously-generated telecommunications device. Wings, radios, those sorts of things kind of just grow out of him.

Lastly, this is one I went out of my way to do a final inking of. Characters are the Killatron (back), A.I. (right), and a guy that I so far just call 37. That's all, g'night folks.

The first few pictures remind me of an idea I have had for a film for a while. Come the day that I make this film, I will find you and force you to be my art director for it.

Thanks, the both of you.

Any questions, SP? What do you like most about the Samus pic?

That sounds like a pretty awesome idea, Bomby. What do you find relates to the film you've imagined? If you ever do get into that scale of production you can feel free to keep me in mind, in all seriousness.

It reminds me of a futuristic German expressionism.

AI, the sketches are great, if you can even call them sketches. They look totally awesome, like something you worked ages on.

What I like the most about the blue Samus pic is the marker lines. I find that my eyes follow the lines, and it really does give it that metallic look. What kind of markers did you use for that?

These are really good, A.I.

Also, i find it hilarious how you noticed that mistake in the CoM, and then corrected it. Nice.

I love blue Samus! Especially the metalic left arm. The coloring is mind-boggling. Also, I think the first guy looks really sweet with the torn jacket and jeans. Great job! I was going to say you make drawing look easy, but that looks so hard to do and you did it easily. It's amazing.

I'm going with everyone else; the blue Samus pic is awesome. The highlights and shading and blending and purty lines and... yeah. It's awesome.
