Famicom High School *POSSIBLE SPOILERS*

[Dr. Furball]

WARNING: Long Post following:
This is what happens when I anticipate Brawl's release and have a conversation with a friend about what the fighters would be like in High School.

Row 1
Slippy Toad- A childhood friend of Fox, Slippy spends his free time in the computer labs messing with code and inventing stuff.
Meta Knight- Always skipping class, this masked enigma is always poking around the school's classified files, trying to find out what the faculty is up to before it's too late.
DeDeDe-This tough penguin is a classic bully: leather jacket, robbing lunch money from geeks, pulling pranks on everybody else, especially Kirby, whose cheerful demeanor annoys him to no end.
Mr. Ganondorf-The principal of the school, Ganondorf accepted the job after the 'mysterious' death of the previous principal. Meta Knight believes that he's plotting something using his new seat of power, but that remains to be seen.
Coach Goroh- Coach of the Hal County High School basketball team, he has a fierce rivalry with Falcon, Famicom's coach. And, like Falcon, he's an F-Zero racing fan.
R.O.B-The Robotic Operating Buddy stays in the sidelines during the games, assisting the cheerleaders in gathering school spirit. The unfortunate fellow inside the hot, cramped, suit, however, isn't having a very good time.

Row 2
Kirby-This pink puffball never speaks to anyone, but don't let that fool you. He's very friendly, and gets along well with everyone except DeDeDe and the cafeteria staff. And the girls can't help but squee every time they see him.
Samus Aran- A loner, Samus spends all her time alone, reading, drawing, or messing around in the computer lab. A beautiful nerd, her cold demeanor prevents anyone from getting close.
Coach Falcon-F-Zero racing fan and coach of FCHS's basketball team, Falcon can be a bit full of himself at times, but has reason to: his Falcon Punch earned him the championship at the statewide boxing championship back when he was an adolescent.
Donkey Kong- A foreign exchange student from Kongo Jungle, DK had a brief rivalry with Mario, but that has passed, and he's found his new passion: the wrestling team.
Prof. Olimar- Short and funny-looking, Olimar's biology class is one that every student looks forward to, be it his fun demonstrations with Pikmin, or his rocket-building hobby, there's no denying that Olimar is the coolest teacher in the building.
Brock- He shares an interest in Pokemon training like his friend Red, but Brock has a reputation outside the Pokemon club. Every girl has been asked out at least once by Brock and shot him down.
Fox McCloud- Following in the footsteps of his basketball-star father, Fox is the self-appointed captain of the basketball team, and his leadership hasn't failed yet.
Falco Lombardi- Another teammate of Fox's, Falco has a habit of doing his own thing and has a tendency to argue with Fox over many matters.

Row 3
Bowser- Football star, tough guy, and all-round brute, this turtle is the one who stuffs Luigi into his locker every day. He gets into fights often, usually with Mario. Despite these flaws, Bowser is currently dating Peach, so he must be doing something right.
Wario- "Psst! Wanna buy something?" The smelly guy found in the dark corners of the halls and in the bathrooms is Wario, who always has the best stuff for sale in his jacket such as prom tickets and test answers. Obsessed with his own wealth, he's never late for any of his business classes.
Yoshi- a foreign exchange student from Dinosaur Land, this green dino is still attempting to get accustomed to our ways. He does seem to really enjoy cooking class, like his friend Kirby.
Peach- Captain of the Cheerleading squad, Peach is unhappy with her current relationship with Bowser, instead developing a crush on Mario. Adored by everyone, this peppy blonde also enjoys gardening.
Mario-Not the best athlete, nor the best student, Mario may seem fairly middle-of-the-road, but his fun-loving, friendly personality makes him almost everybody's friend.
Luigi-Mario's nerdy little brother. He lacks the courage to stand up for himself, so he relies on Mario's help. He's also very shy, and is the victim of bullying, such as being stuffed into his locker daily.
Link-This strong, silent type is a fan of fantasy novels, is decent with a sword, and isn't afraid of anything. Similar to Meta Knight, Link is suspicious of Ganondorf.
Zelda-Link's girlfriend, and fellow fantasy fan. Her grades are better than Link's but she also acts as his tutor, helping him when she's needed.
Red-Member of the Pokemon club, Red's known for keeping a Pikachu that refuses to go into a Pokeball, allowing it to tag around with him. Currently trying to get the eight club badges, Red's less than stellar performance as a student is overshadowed by his passion for Pokemon training.

I just wonder where Diddy, Ike, Marth(Foreign Exchange student), Ness, Lucas and the rest of the unlockables are. Other then those little things, nice work.

Well, it's not based on Brawl's roster, just inspired by it. It's mostly a collection of the characters of Nintendo's biggest franchises as teenagers, which is why Samurai Goroh, Brock and Slippy Toad are there. I would've put in Ridley, but couldn't think of what to do with him.

I left off Fire Emblem characters due to their obscurity in the US, and I felt that the Mother characters as well as the Ice Climbers were too young to be in High School just yet.

Have you... Have you checked the ****ing stores lately? There's a ****ing Fire Emblem Game on the Wii.

And they're planning to release the first 6 to us. We've already got four of the damned games Stateside. It's damned hard to be obscure when you get that much hype.

Anyway, pretty solid work.

You should read Toasty's fanfic on NintendoLand. It was "Mario High School Days"... reminded me of this.

I read it years ago back when it was on TMK. I think I may have been subconsciously inspired by it.
