Squid man brings to mind Davey Jones from the Pirates movies. You've got a decent eye for proportions, too. The sketchy line thing plagues every beginner artist - the easiest way to do solid, straight lines is to practice moving your whole arm rather than just your hand. Straight, long lines come from the elbow, not from the wrist. |
