Heh, he does kinda jerk around alot. Slowing it down may make it seem less jerky, so I say try it

Animation Shop 3. It comes with Paint Shop Pro.

However, it's a teeny bit complex. But once you figure it out, the work you can do with it is outstanding.

And while it doesn't hold a candle to the price of Photoshop, PSP can be kind of expensive (although I got v.7 instead of 8)
