As you should notice, I'm making it a kind of daily thing to sketch something or other.

Drew another Axl with the facial expression of a deer caught in a headlight. Had to throw in something to cause that face.

As for why the Alien is just a floating head, it was all I was in the mood to draw.

The actual Axl was drawn totally from memory, but I did have to pry a gun out of the figure's hand to draw it (which is why it looks so much better than the actual Axl). The Alien was done using an older sketch I did while looking at a picture on the Alien Quadrology box. I'd scan the picture, but it would no doubt come out looking like crap because the box uses some kind of defraction technique which makes a rainbow effect.

These Axls are still a HELL of a lot better than the first Axl I drew. My first Axl was not that one in the first post that I colored. The first Axl drawing was almost as bad as that prototype 16-bit Taro.

It looks more like a Predator.

Regardless, awesome work as always, CK!

You're drawing really well, CK. The colouring side of things will improve with practice.

This is what my math teacher calls a "purple hair moment".

I neglected to print out a good picture of her shoes, so I just guessed on them. Otherwise, Flying Omelette thought it was pretty good.

Bebedora.

Hm. I just noticed that was the only post so far where I didn't say the name of the person in the drawing.

Not one, not two, but THREE sketches today! And as a bonus, a colored tracing!

Why three? I didn't go to school today. I was having sporadic coughing fits, and spent most of last night feeling like I was going to throw up. I actually did all three of these today.

Well, Chunky, your wish kind of came true. It's not exactly Lemmy, just a generic lemming.

This also shows how long I've been drawing lemmings - the lemming is practically void of eraser marks, while the minish is covered by them. Actually, you can't really tell on this picture. I don't know what's up with my software, but it seems to clean up eraser marks. On the actual drawing there's a "ghost" of a feather I erased that's not on this scan.

Although I do admit the lemming is kind of tall and skinny, and I accidently got him at an angle, as if trying to tilt away from the minish that's scaring him.

A copy drawing (not a tracing, one I just looked at to copy) of a picture I found on Google.

Drawn using a picture of Alundra in the manual. This also gave me inspiration for another "goal" drawing. His eyes are kind of off to the side because I decided to practice for that drawing I have on my mind.

This is a tracing of the above picture (which is why he doesn't look as good) that was then used as a coloring exercise because I didn't want to eff up the original drawing.

If enough people want to know, I'll tell you all what these "goal" drawings are.

2. Protoman, why are you so cool in the MM8 opening where Bass looks like a idiot? (MegaMan too)

3+4. No comments.

I was going to wait until five people asked, but Double-Dubya asked. He's five people to me (not meaning your fat, I just respect you a lot).

I actually have three goals.

Picture #1
Mega Man in his Quick Boomerang coloring, Taro, Bebedora, and Skitty standing in a line:

Mega Man: (to Taro) I wore pink in, what, two games out of 87? What am I doing here?

Taro: (to Mega Man) Know what? On top of being from a game that was never released in America, I'm not even wearing that much pink. So you shut up.

Bebdora: (to Skitty) Are you my enemy?

Skitty: (to Bebedora) ...nya?

The words "Crimefighting robots, ghostbusting cameramen, possessed marionettes, and cuddly Pokemon everywhere agree: ...". And I have not figured out what should come next. It's supposed to say something like "Only the best are good enough to wear PINK", but I'm there's a lot of crapbuckets who wear pink (I just can't think of any right now.

Oh, and, according to the show, Skitty actually do go "Nya" instead of "Skitty!" And Delcatty go "Mrowr". It's really weird.

Picture #2
A whole mob of Minish surrounding a lemming. Or maybe vice versa, because Minish are a helluva lot harder to draw than lemmings.

Picture #3
Link, Alundra, and Jak. Daxter is standing on Jak's shoulder, talking a bunch, something like "...well come on, somebody say something! Link, did Zelda get captured again? Alundra, you ever beat that stone lizard? Jak, wanna say something to your REAL precursors? Oh wait, lemme guess. All three of you are mute protagonists. Am I right?"

Which they are, unless something changed from the first Jak & Daxter (the only one I've played)

----

I intend to try to send them into GameInformer's envelope art, but there's a problem with that first one, about the cool dudes in pink. It's based on an image Mercury Crusader made:

I'd no doubt feel like scum if I sent that in and it got published without asking Merc's permission.

Ironically, none of the people in the original picture are in this drawing. That's because the only one I know about is Dan Hibiki, and I don't even know that much about him.

Hehe. I respect you a whole lot too Codie, but who says both can't be true.

(j/k, I'm not fat... yah.^_^')

Those sound great Codie! Can't wait to see them drawn out.

That's not bad. Once you finish your "dream drawings", were you thinking about taking requests and stuff?
