Actually, I originally just drew the mewkie. I liked this so much, I decided to use it on my website - I threw on a comment, wrote "COMICS CORNER", and used something I'm about to explain to make it into something fun for my Comics page. By the way, is it just me, or does my handwriting with a red sharpie look like it's written it some poor schmo's vital plasma? ![]() Sketched using an action figure as a guide. I was too lazy to do his bottom half, so I just had him climbing a wall. In Paint Shop Pro, under the Colors toolbar, then under "Adjust" at the bottom you'll find something called "Threshold". It turns the picture to black and white. Which colors become black and which become white are determined by how high you set the number. You can use it, along with the Fill tool, to make it look like you drew it in Paint. ![]() Cool, eh? But the truth is, you really shouldn't color a drawing you're going to threshold - you WILL end up with specks from the coloring that you have to go through and clean up. It also works best on unlined paper, because you may end up with lines. And if you set the Threshold too low to remove the lines, some of the lines you do want may vanish. Basically, draw them on unlined paper, don't color them, scan them, threshold them, color. By the way, these are on lined paper because I didn't have a sketch pad, and I had a spare notebook laying around. I just bought a sketch pad and some tracing paper today. ![]() Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there! Don't ask me to. - The only thing I can draw without looking at a guide to look at is lemmings, some Skitties that need work, and imaginary dragon-things from the back of my mind. Everything else, I need something to look at in order to draw. ![]() Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there! |

Drawing realistically bores me, though there's nothing wrong with realistic drawings. ;p That's fine about having to have something to look at. I just love looking at things other people draw! |

In case you couldn't tell, that's not me. That's just a plain ol' Mewkie. I totally effed up that Mewkie's eyes. The Skitty was done from memory, so she's not quite as good as a "guided" drawing. But the Mewkie was done with a blown up Mewkie, which I admit it hard because of the lack of detail on a Mewkie. But the very first Mewkie I ever drew (the one at the top of this page) came out so well... why can't I do it again? ![]() Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Yeah, Skitty gets to be my guinea pig a lot. ![]() Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there! |

As for what's up with the Skitty... I drew Axl, somehow got his head facing downward and a bit of a spooked expression, so I had to draw SOMETHING for him to be looking at. ![]() Where are these lemmings going? Because that's what I have. Despite the fact the elbows bend incorrectly (they bend left and right instead of up and down, which limits the posibility of his arms), it's actually a VERY nice figure. And only ten bucks. I also have this three-incher with a VERY frightening face. ![]() Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there! |

My sprite form is an enlarged blue one - in the actual game they're pink (just like the one in that drawing), and while I don't mind pink as a color (some of my favorite VG characters wear pink. Just look at Taro) it's just not something I myself would wear. By the way, while Mappyland is actually a quite enjoyable game, the original Mappy is borderline unplayable. ![]() Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! | Senior Member | My Axl figure has two pistols(SP?), those two weird white wing thingys, and hair you can put on/off. My Axl figure was made by Jazwares.Inc. Other charaters in the X figures are (From left to right) Vile, Black Zero, Zero, X, Axl, and ??? X. I've noticed something cool.... Bass has two action figures you can see (Normal and Mine thingy) and Zero 9Black and normal) The realation? Both cool(Bass is coler) and made by Wily. Anywho, I hope to see more art from, Codie Kitty! |
