Megaman 9: Wily's last stand

Scene 1: Wily's plan

Megaman and Roll were relaxing at Doc Light's lab in their normal cloths (as opposed to their combat suits) with nothing to do. when suddenly Protoman walked in the front door in his street cloths looking for doctor Light.

Protoman: hay guys, you seen dad around anywhere?
Roll: yeah Blues, Dad's in his secret lab working on his top secret project.
Protoman: what's so important that he would keep his project from us?
Roll: don't know, why don't you ask him?
Protoman: thanks.

Protoman walks down the hall to search for Doc Light. Roll looks over at Megaman a little worried.

Roll: Rock, what's wrong with Blues?
Megaman: the last time dad saw him he noticed that Blues had some kind of abnormal energy in him that could be fatal, I guess Blues came to get it fixed.

back with Protoman, he fionds his way to the lab where Light is working on his Project X. Protoman walks in and does his little whistle to announce his presance. Light turns around and sees Protoman standing there at the doorway.

Light: Bluse! so you've decided to get that energy flux fixed?
Protoman: don't tell the others about this okay? besides, I want to see that secret project of yours.
Light: allright blues, I guess I owe you that for saving me. here it is, it's almost complete, but I don't think I will live to see it's activation.

Protoman looked at the Project X and saw that it looked like an older and taller version of Megaman with different armor.

Protoman: woah, no way! that's Rock isn't it!
Light: well I based his design on Rock yes, but he's much more than just a remodeled Rock. he will have something other robots don't have.
Protoman: what's that?
Light: he will have free will and the capasity to learn and grow like a human. but I'm afraid that he can't be activated until 15 years have passed because it would be too dangerous for him to be activated before then. If Wily made a robot like X then he would be unstoppable!
Protoman: Wily making a Robot like X? but why would it be unstoppable?
Light: because X creates a higher power output than you, Rock, Bass, and Duo combined!

Protoman raised an eyebrow and smirked. he walked into the repair lab to await repairs to him.

Meanwhile at Wily's lab Wily is working Tirelessly on his Project Zero. Wily adds the final piece to Project Zero and wiped his forehead.

Wily: whew, finally finished with project Zero. now to get to work on his weapon. soon Light will Tremble in Fear at my new Robot, but I need some time to get his weapon ready. *cough cough* Forte, bring me my medecine!

Bassfrom the break room) Get it yourself old man!

Wily: SLIDER! *cough cough* I need my medecine!

a female robot with long purple hair wearing a white turtle neck sweater and blue pants rushed into the room with a glass of water and Wily's medecine bottle. Wily snatched the medecine and water from Slider and gulped down his medecine.

Wily: thank you slider, I'm better now.
Slider: is there anything else you need dad?
Wily: yes, could you tell me where my first 6 robot masters are? I haven't seen them all week.
Slider: they went to live with Light remember?
Wily: oh yes, well what about all of the other ones?
Slider: they're all here since you created them except for the ones Cossac made, they're with him. but Pharoahman and Skullman are still here.
Wily: okay, that will be all Slider, go talk with your Sister or something.

Slider nodds and goes to talk to Techno.

Wily: well my 8 new Robot masters should be ready by now, and Megaman can't do anything to stop them this time because they're females! MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Bass: heh, that won't work pops. Megaman will defeat you yet again because all you build is garbage!
Wily: shut up Forte! maybe if you would listen better you wouldn't question me. since my 8 new robot masters are female, Megaman won't be able to attack them because he's such a goody two shoes and would never harm a lady. it's perfect!
Bass: one problem doc, what if Duo shows up again, or Protoman, or even Roll. they don't have to think twice before hitting a girl, well Roll at least.
Wily: Roll is weak and the other two are not as strong as megaman so I wouldn't worry about it.
Bass: your funeral Doc.

Bass activates 4 of the 8 robot mistresses and goes back to the break room. the first to step out of her pod was a female that had cat ears a cat tail and cat claws on her fingers. the second looked like an amazon warrior wearing an animal skin Bikini. the third looked like a nurse with an oversized hypadermic needel in her hands and the fourth looked like a fairy.

Wily: excelent. Nekogirl, you attack the north side of the city in the animal reserve. Amazongirl, you attack the forrest military base. Nursegirl you attack the high security mental institution. and Fairygirl you attack the sky military fortress.

the robot mistresses nodd and teleport to their locations. Wily laughs evily and gloats over his own intelligence for thinking of this plan.
Wily: well this will buy me enough time to get project Zero's weapon ready at least.

scene 2: megaman's call to duty

Megaman, Roll and the now repaired Protoman were playing a videogame when Doc Light rushed into the room with an alarmed look on his face.

Light: Megaman, you have to hurry, four new Robot Masters have appeared, one's in the animal reserve to the north, one's in the forrest base to the east, one's in the mental institution to the south and one's in the sky base west of here!

Megaman, the one at the animal reserve has a fire weapon right?
Light: yes but...
Megaman: I'm headed north first, see ya later dad.

Megaman teleported to the animal reserve to the north and appeared in his battle suit. he started his run throught the animal reserve shooting down enemies as he went and finally reached the hallway to the robot master. he entered the first shutter and then the second one to get to the robot master. the robot master Nekogirl teleported in and smiled at Megaman.

Nekogirl: hi, you must be Megaman. I'm Nekogirl, your first opponent.
Megaman: but you're a girl! I can't hurt a girl, it's wrong!
Nekogirl: I know, Wily should have done this years ago! [img]graemlins/lol.gif[/img]
Megaman: I don't want to hurt you!
Nekogirl: but I want to hurt you.

she kicked megaman into the shutter which caused megaman to cry out in pain. he gets up but is clawed by her fireclaw attack.

Roll: what's wrong Megaman? I heard you scream, are you allright?
Megaman: I'm fine, but my body won't let me fight back!
Roll: but you've trained with me alot of times and that's never happened in training.
Megaman: that's because in training there's no chance you can get killed because I have my megabuster set to... that's it! if I switch to rapidfire mode I can defeat her without killing her and still get her weapon!

Megaman switched to rapidfire mode and dodged Nekogirl's next assault. he then fired his rapidfire cannon at her and overwhelmed her with his arm cannon. she fell to her hands and knees and wenced from her wounds.

Nekogirl: how did you defeat me so easily?! how could you even fight me?!
Megaman: because if I have my old rapidfire armcannon equiped instead of my mega buster then my attack is weaker but I can still win without killing my opponent that way. don't worry, Doctor light can repair you, but before you go, could you give me your weapon?
Nekogirl: why not, I can't use it anymore.

she gave megaman her weapon and teleported to doc light's lab. Megaman then teleported to the forrest to go after the next robot master.
once in the forest base Megaman fought is way to the robot master room equipped with the rapidfire cannon. once there he entered the room and looked around. then an arrow whized by his head. Megaman dodged it just in time and saw Amazongirl standing in front of him. she was tall and really muscular like Gutsman or Stoneman.

Amazongirl: so you're Megaman. heh, you look weak to me.
Megaman: listen, I don't want to fight you, I just want to talk.
Amazongirl: ha! Like you have anything to say to me little man.
Megaman: listen, fighting me is pointless...
Amazongirl: you're right, why waste my time on you when I could be hunting.
Megaman: what?
Amazongirl: you heard me weakling.
Megaman: oh it's on now woman!

Megaman changed his weapon to the flameclaw and rushed Amazongirl defeating her with just a few hits of the flameclaw. she dropped to her hands and knees and looked at megaman.

Amazongirl: what happened? I was supposed to win.
Megaman: let me help you up, Doc light can repair you too, but I need your weapon first.

She nodds and gives Megaman her earth crusher weapon. she teleports to the lab while megaman teleports to the now flooded institute where he fights his way through once again to find himself face to face with Nursegirl and her oversized hypadermic needle.

Nursegirl: aww you look sick Megaman, looks like you need a shot!
Megaman: EEP!
a water cyclone was shot from her needle which Megaman slid under and used the earth Crusher several times on her to defeat her. she dropped to her hands and knees and gave Megaman her weapon willingly and teleported to the lab. Megaman then teleported to the sky base to confront Fairygirl.
once there, Megaman fought his way through the fortress and got to Fairygirl with few problems.

Fairygirl: yeah, listen I don't want to fight you after I saw what you did to my sisters so I'll gust give you my tornado cutter and go to your lab.
Megaman looked at her astonished and gladly took the weapon and returned to the lab with her.

Meanwhile Wily was working on the weapon for Project Zero.

Wily: I'm almost done with it. but I need more time. BASS! activate the last four girlbots for me.

Bass activates the last four girls and returns to his room with his two sisters.

the first looked like a ninja girl, the next looked like a samuri girl, the third looked like a girl with skeleton armor and the last looked like a pharoah. Bass walked in again and got a good look at them.

Bass: you you just made female counterparts to Shadowman, Yamatoman, Skullman, and Pharoahman?
Wily: is there a problem with that?
Bass: no, I just think that you should have done something else. and don't you want me to fight megaman first?
Wily: well the robot museum has a part I need. go get me that part and take the modified Gutsman with you.
Bass: I can do it alone old man!

Bass teleports to the robot museum and gets the part but Megaman found this out and went to the robot museum to stop Bass.

Bass: ah, megaman, I knew you'd show up!
Megaman: BASS! what are you doing here?
Bass: just getting a part for wily's secret project.
Megaman: Bass I know there's some good in you, please don't do this!
Bass: shut up! I want to fight you right now!
Megaman: but Bass...
Bass: I tell you what, if I win I give the part to Wily. but if you win you can have it. how's that sound?
Megaman: okay, you're on!

the battle between the two ensues the two are very evenly matched until Bass calls in Treble and changes to his super form and clobbers Megaman badly.

Megaman: Bass you cheated!
Bass: what can I say, I'm evil, and I finally beat you! YES!!! now to get this thing back to wily!

Bass teleports back to wily and is in a very good mood from finally defeating megaman. he whistles his theme song as he gives the device to wily.

Wily: you seem very chipper Bass.
Bass: that's because I finally defeated that blue pest.
Wily: you mean you actually destroyed Megaman?!
Bass: no, but I did win against him, that's how I got your part.

Bass continued on his merry way to his room while wily placed the crystal in the soon to be Z saber.

Scene 3: the second round of robot master fights.

Megaman had returned to the lab to heal from his wounds in his battle with Bass when he heard the alarm go off.

Megaman: let me guess, 4 more robot masters have shown up.
Light: precicely, but they appear to be robots you've fought before but something seems a little different about them.
Megaman: what's that? are they female?
Light: that's exactly it! how did you know?
Megaman: lucky guess. so where are they?
one is at a Ninja base, one is at a Japanese castle, one is at the fossle dig site and one is at the pyramids.
Megaman: shadow, yamato, skull and pharaoh. don't worry I'm on it!

Megaman teleported to the ninja base first to take on Shadowgirl.

Megaman: heh, this is exactly like shadowman's base. this will be easy.

Megaman drank an energy tank to heal himself and proceeded through the base until he was stopped in his tracks by his brother in an isolated room.

Protoman: hold up bro, before you go on I just need to tell you that these four robots will stop at nothing to kill you since they are designed after the 4 deadliest robot masters Wily ever created.
Megaman: so you mean I have to...
Protoman: that's right, they must be destroyed.
Megaman: but I can't, I can't kill a girl!
Protoman: then I'll see you at your funeral brother.
Megaman: how can I kill them, my system locks up when I try to!
Protoman: well, you could try doing what you did with the first four, but I wouldn't expect that to work. well anyway, I came to tell you Shadowgirl's weakness is that wind weapon of yours. see ya.

Protoman teleported out and megaman continued onward to the final room where Shadowgirl was waiting on the cealing for Megaman. She vanished frof the cealing and reappeared on the floor standing in front of megaman.
She was wearing a ninja uniform like shadowman's and her face was showing.

Shadowgirl: so you're megaman, you may have defeated my sisters but you won't defeat me. my ninja powers are far beyond those of my male counterpart. so prepare yourself for the void!

She vanished again as Megaman switched to his wind weapon and looked ror her when she reappeared behind him and threw a shadow blade at him. he dodged it by sliding and then shot the wind weapon at her. she flew back against the wall and shook it off as she fired off three shadow blades after a high jump into the airbut megaman was ready and used the razorwind weapon to send the shadow blades back at her to damage her for half her energy. she then unsheathed a katana and charged at megaman who jumped over her and struck her in the back with the razor wind twice taking of the rest of her health. she collapsed and gave up the shadow blade weapon and told megaman to go after Yamatogirl next. he nodded and sent her to the lab before teleporting to the japaneese castle to fight Yamatogirl.

Megaman now looked around at the familiar surroundings and smiled to himself.

Megaman: another reused base, this time yamatoman's base. I'll bet the other two have reused bases and recycled weapons.

Megaman quickly breezed through this stage to get to Yamatogirl. once in the RM room he saw the female samuri kneeling and muttering a prayer before she stood to fight.
Yamatogirl: so, you are megaman. you do realize it is my mission to kill you correct?
Megaman: I'm aware of that.
Yamatogirl: I was praying that you will not be in pain when you die today.
Megaman: no one's going to die today, both you and I will live to see tomorrow. but I don't want to fight you.
Yamatogirl: you dishonor me by not accepting my challenge, therefore I must commit sepukku.
Megaman: what?

she draws her katana and raises it above her head with the point facing the ground. she forcefully brings it down and attempts to stab herself in the stomach but a shadow blade deflects the sword to hit the ground instead.

Yamatogirl: what are you doing?!
Megaman: saving your life! are you crazy lady?! you were about to kill yourself!
Yamatogirl: I am a samuri and my honor is what I hold highest above all else.
Megaman: okay to keep your honor I will fight you.

the two start their fight but it is soon over with a three shadowblade strike from Megaman. she collapsed and gave Megaman her Yamato spear and teleported to light's lab. Megaman then teleported to the fossil quary to fight Skullgirl who had no base.

Skullgirl: who dares to awaken me! come and face my ungodly wrath! I shall devour your soul for intruding into my unholy domain and destroy your body with my powers of the void, NOW DIE!!!!
Megaman: ACK! please don't hurt me, I'm too young to die!
Skullgirl: hay relax, that stuff's just for show.
Megaman: what? you mean all of that was just for intimidation?
Skullgirl: yeah, did it work?
Megaman: YOU ALMOST GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK!!!!
Skullgirl: I'll take that as a yes. well let's fight!

Megaman equiped the yamato spear and fired it at Skullgirl who immediately put her shield up to block it but the speat went right through the shield and hit Skullgirl.

Skullgirl: OUCH! how the hell did you pierce my impenetrable shield?
Megaman: the yamato spear can pierce a shield weapon easily.
Skullgirl: AHHH! I give up! here take my shield!
Megaman: thanks. head over to Doc Light's lab, he'll help you heal.

she teleports to light's lab and megaman teleports strait into Pharaohgirl's burial chamber in the pyramid. she rose out of her sarcofigus and was wrapped in embalming cloth strips like a mummy. her eyes glowed red through the opening in the wrapings where her eyes were.
Megaman Shot the skull barrier at Pharaohgirl and destroyed the mummy wrappings on her to reveal her ancient egyptian appearance. she looked at megaman intensely and smirked at him.

Pharaohgirl: you dare disturb my eternal slumber?
Megaman: look I just want to talk.
Pharaohgirl: silence! you have disturbed my slumber, now feel the wrath of my curse!

she charged up her Pharaoh shot to full power and shot it at Megaman who deflected the attack right back at Pharaohgirl and took off half of her health in the process. she was about to do another when Megaman hit her with the skull barrier and drained the rest of her health. she reluctantly gave him her weapon and teleported to light's lab.

Meanwhile at Wily's lab/fortress

Wily: I did it! it's finally built!!!! my greatest creation is finally complete!!!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!! now to download my mind to this robot I had build just in case I were to pass on. BASS! get project Zero to his capsule for Wily virus upload!
Bass: whatever doc.

Bass draggs the much taller project Zero to the virus download capsule and blaces the odd weapon on Project Zero's back and closes the capsule.

Bass: I still don't see how he can possibly be of any use to you or how he can be stronger than me.
Wily: don't be a fool Bass, his power output is more than yours, megaman's, Protoman's and Duo's combined! he's the perfect killing machine. plus he can learn like a human and he has free will!
Bass: but with free will wouldn't he rebell against you?
Wily: not with the virus I'm uploading. when that virus takes hold he will have no thought in his head except to kill everything he sees, especally Megaman and Light, and when he touches another robot, that robot will be infected with my beautifull virus. my virus will spread like a plague across the earth until every machine on the planet is infected. then all data of the past will be deleted and no one will ever know that megaman existed. it's the perfect plan don't you think Bass?
Bass: I think you're crazy!
Wily: crazy like a fox you mean. and to see this for myself I'm uploading my brain into this robot just in case project Zero goes berzerk and kills me too.
Bass: and what if he kills me and my sisters?
Wily: I built new bodies for you three that allready have all of your data in them, they're just not active yet.
Bass: you know doc, I have a bad feeling about this.

actually Megaman & Bass is a sidestory to the main events in the series and could take place anywhere between MM8 and the power fighters and thus has no number like the two fighting games that came out in the arcades in japan.

Scene 4: the cataclysm

at wily's lab, Zero, who was now active but sleeping in his capsule was suddenly awakened.

Wily: Zero...
Zero: Who are you?
Wily: My masterpiece...
Zero: But... who are you?
Wily: After him! He is my nemesis. Our rivalry is what gives me motivation in life. Now go! Destroy him! That's an order.
Zero: Huh... ? Wait!

A sharp ringing sound invades Zero's mind, and he starts to scream in pain. Zero's eyes turn from blue to red and he starts to laugh maniachly. in his demented state he searches the city for Megaman and Light with Wily and Bass close behind in his small UFO craft. Zero starts destroying everything he sees on his rampage to destroy Megaman and kill Doctor Light. while this destruction continues, Protoman watches from a rooftop at all this carnage that Zero has caused. Protoman jumps from his rooftop and starts chasing after Wily and Zero.

Protoman: Wily, stop this madness!!!

Wily looks at Protoman with a crazed look in his eye and points to Protoman.

Wily: there is your first target Zero, destroy him!

Zero turned to Wily and looked at him with a kind of madness that only one of pure evil could have. and Jumped onto wily's ship. he grabbed wily's head and heald wily over the edge of his ship and squeezed his head until it caved in and was crushed. and he flung Wily's corpse into a building hard enough to destroy the building, killing everyone inside. Bass and Protoman looked at Zero in horror and teleported to Light's lab.

Zero then destroyed Wily's Saucer and continued on his rampage.

back at Light's lab Protoman and Bas are too shocked to say anything.

Megaman: what's wrong with them dad?
Light: they're in a state of shock Rock.
Roll: what can we do?
Light: let me try something.

Light snapped his fingers and the two robots screamed in terror from what they had whitnessed just moments before.

Protoman: that thing's a monster, it destroy's everything and everyone in sight!
Bass: it's headed here to kill all of you! it just crushed wily's head in and then killed everyone in a building by destroying it with Wily's corpse!

The lab went silent untill Light spoke up.

Light: that fool, I knew it was too dangerous to activate a model like that right away!
Megaman: you mean...
Light: yes, it's wily's version of my X prototype.
Megaman: I have to stop that thing!
Light: if you face that now you'll die. come with me Rock, I need to show you X.

Light leads megaman to the body of what will be Megaman X in time. Light then attaches a cable to Megaman's left helmet port and connects it to X's right helmet port. all of Megaman't memmories and personallity were coppied and downloaded into X's inactive mind. Light disconnects the cable and explains to Megaman that his memmories and personality will appear in X when X is activated in 15 years but that if they activate X now he could also go berzerk like Wily's version and go on a rampage. so Light added the last addition to X by giving him a concounce and storing him away in his capsuel where he would remain undisturbed.
suddenly an explosion was heard just outside the lab. the 8 robot masters that Megaman had fought rushed out to see what happened. their screams and cries of pain could be heard from inside and then the robot masters were silent. Gutsman and the other 5 origional robot masters ran into the livingroom where Roll Bass and Protoman were standing.

Elecman: what happened? what's going on?
Roll: the new robotmasters are dead borthers.
Fireman: no, it can't be.
Protoman: well you heard their screams right?
Gutsman: uh-oh.

just then Auto rushed in with the support units as the door to the lab was destroyed by the Z saber. a shadowed figure of Zero appeared in the doorway and he spoke to them in a cold and sinister voice.

Zero: where is Megaman and Doctor Light!
Cutman: who are you!
Zero: why should I tell you my name when all of you will be dead soon anyway.
Gutsman: what?! I dare you to say that to my face!
Zero: very well, have it your way.

Zero dashed in and slaughtered the origional 6 robot masters in a matter of seconds with his Z saber, their oil stains the floor now.

Zero: now who will tell me where the good doctor is?
Protoman: let's take it outside!
Zero: as you wish protoman.

Zero walked out calmly and so did Protoman. the battle began and Protoman gave everything he had against Zero but it wasn't enough. Zero withstood all of Protoman't attacks and brushed them off as if they were nothing and then cut Protoman down with his Z saber. Zero smiled an insane smile and stabbed Protoman through the core of his body and twisted the Z sabre until Protoman went offline permanantly. Zero took Protoman's sunglasses from his corpse and then went back inside. he tossed the shades to the ground and stepped on them, crushing them to dust.

Zero: so who's the next fool to die by my hand?
Bass: you murderer I'll kill you!!!

Bass Charged at Zero who shot Bass with a charged shot and then cut him in half at the waist with his Z saber, Bass now lie dieing on the floor and bleeding.

Bass: Roll... could you come here?

Roll walks over to Bass's dieing body and kneels down to hear him.

Roll: what is it Bass?
Bass: I never got to tell you earlier, but now I wish I did. erk... Roll...I...love...you.

with that Bass closes his eyes and dies in front of Roll.

Roll: you psycho! you killed him!
Zero: and you're about to join him Roll.

Zero grabs Roll by the throat and stabs her in the gut and through her back. Roll lets out a small ylp and then goes into shock and dies on Zero's Z saber. Zero tosses her aside and lets her "blood" drain onto the floor.
Auto: ran away after seeing all of this to his escape craft, but the support units stayed behind to fight. with one swing of the Z saber, Rush, beat, tango, eddie and Trebble were dead.

Zero: now to find Megaman and light.

Zero searched the lab until he found Megaman in his room crying at his loss.

Zero: so, you're megaman. I'm going to kill you and then when I find light, I'll kill him! now stop crying and fight me!
Megaman: you heartless FREAK! you killed my family and friends, now I'll kill you for what you've done!!!!

Megaman switched back to the mega buster and charged to a full power shot and activated every weapon he had ever owned and released everything in one blast of powerfull energy hoping that would kill Zero, but it was no good. Zero stood there as if nothing happened and megaman was drained from that attack.

Zero: that attack actually tickled a bit. but now it's time to die megaman! Zero rushed at megaman and then stopped in his tracks and fell to his knees, his injuries from megaman's last attack had done serious internal damage to Zero even though he was fine on the outside.

Zero: you little punk! you actually hurt me! you're really going to die now, but first I need to do something.

Zero got up and walked back into the living room and saw that Roll was actually still alive and was crawling to the door to escape but Zero placed one foot on her back and grabbed her hair and pulled hard to pull her head back. Roll screamed loud enough for megaman to hear her and ran into the living room to witness Zero cutting off roll's head and holding it up for Megaman to see her decapitated head swing back and forth in Zero's hand. Zero smiled maniacly at Megaman's sorrow and tossed Roll's head at megaman's feet.

Zero: there you go Megaman, a souvineer for our first encounter. looks like your sister lost her head over me. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
Megaman: you're a monster! I'll kill you!!!!

Megaman rushed Zero who kicked Megaman away and shot him in the chest. Megaman could barely move now from that attack plus his energy being drained from his desperation attack against Zero.
Zero approached Megaman and stabbed him in his core and twisted the Z saber until Megaman finally shut down forever. Zero walked into the secret lab where Light had just finished recording his memmory and all of X's future upgrades into a storage databank.

Light: you may kill my body but I will live on Zero.
Zero: heh heh heh, you think so huh? well say goodbye Light!

and with that Zero shot light in the head with his arm cannon and destroyed the lab with his Z saber. then Zero regained his senses and looked around wondering where he was.

Zero: what happened? where am I, who was that guy that I saw back at that lab?

he then sees all of the death he has caused and then looks at his blood stained hands and realizes that he has killed everyone.

Zero: what have I done? oh God what have I done?!

Zero falls to his hands and knees and starts to cry. and he teleports to Wilys base where he seals himself away in a capsuel and sleeps until he is awakened again about a few yeas before 21XX by the robotic wily and sent to finish his duty to spread the wily virus as a mavrick.

later he is found by sigma and fights sigma like a wild man until sigma breaks Zero's crystal on his forehead and the Mavric virus is spread to Sigma and Zero looses his mavrick status and becomes a mavrick hunter to pay his debt to society.

the end of the clasic series and the beginning of the X series.
