The Prize of War: A Star Fox Story

Prologue:

"Fox, what are you doing in my quarters!" barked an angry Peppy Hare. Peppy chased Fox out threatening him with his broom. Peppy recently became quite the miserable fellow. Ever since he lost Petunia Parrot, he has been a changed hare. Petunia was his cousin, his one living family member. Until recently, Petunia and him spent most of their time helping defend the galaxy. Petunia then dropped dead during the midst of a battle with Team Wolf. She had an aneurism and her heart stopped. She died instantly.

Fox should have known not to get in Peppy's way. Though young and arrogant, he was a smart little fox. He looked up to Peppy as a father figure, because his real father was taken as he was a child. Fox never really truted anyone the same way he treated Peppy. He always made sure that Peppy was feeling alright, after Petunia's death, he began getting distanced from Peppy, as Peppy refused to be happy, and no longer found joy in the fox's jokes.

Falco Lombardi was a proud falcon. Always aiming for the sky. He finally reached it when joining lifelong friends: Fox McCloud and Slippy Toad in this army of theirs. He had always dreamed of being a great fighter pilot, but wanted to be laidback. When he was rejected at 7 flight schools, he gave up his dreams, and worked for a parrot, named Petunia for several years. He became close to this parrot, and when she went into piloting to join her cousin, Falco followed her. He fell madly in love with her, and killed Andrew Oikanny, thinking he had killed her.

Slippy Toad was a crazy little thing. He was a mechanic. Except, he was galaxy renowned. If you needed work done, you couldn't find anyone better. He had always been fond of rather elegant species, such as parrots. When he found out his godfather's cousin was a parrot, he immediately insisted on meeting her. He later found out she, too, was a great mechanic, and they went into business together. It was Slippy's idea to leave this job, and join "Papa" Hare, and Fox in a team later called 'The Legendary Five'.

I didn't include physical descriptions because most of you know what they look like. There WILL be physical descriptions in the ACTUAL fan fiction.
